Feral Pigs in South West NRM Region (2015)
Thanks, Big Bob, made your trap to your plans and it works great, to date have trapped 7 birds in 6 days.
Could you please get rid of this annoying "music"! It is too loud too boring and does not fit any purpose. I like to listen to these officers and not to this electronic noise BS! Please, take ti off the video, thanks! Regards from Dresden / Germany
Fu
It looks great. Is there a cutting list anywhere?
Brilliant
Thanks Bob, will make the trap… now for the important part, how do most ensure the one way trip to visit their bird god, that meets all the rules the RSPA set.
I can't hear the words for the loud, unnecessary music, but I can figure out what's going on by the pictures.
dog , such a helpful animal to humen since ancient times .
You're a legend mate!! 👍 Thank-you Bob. I'm so eager to make my trap(s) and join in the Aussie crusade of fighting for our beautiful native bird life and helping to one day hopefully fully exterminate these introduced flying vermin assassins 🤮 that kill our native birds. 😰
stop talking so much and kill the the damned cats !!!!!!!
Domestic dogs are becoming a problem also. They are the third leading cause of water pollution. We can't talk about that tho.
Traveling to my favorite fishing river in northwest always see feral cats, I went out purchased a.17 hmr rifle just to clean them out,now after 2 years I rarely see cat along river, good thing for birds.
Followed your detailed video and my trap was perfect. Caught two birds immediately. Thank you.
Ur cruel. Poor cats didn’t deserve that. I hate your dogs and i want them dead for helping you kill the poor cats. Whats wrong with you?
@@FraudRackateeringandTreason brainless cat hater.
Bros hating on someone because he's helping the wild life of a entire continent
@@Dasple Australia is a country. Oceania is a continent that australia is in.
@@potatocats5716 ok and? I'm not talking about Australia I'm talking about the entire continent
why they have cages?
What is a bilby?
A marsupial animal.
I’m almost to the end of your video and I don’t see a cat getting blasted yet !!
So you so called Humans, are killing a species whom are trying to survive. Also proclaim they're destroying the birds. Because you want them to survive. And not the Cats. But if you eat turkey, etc. Then you're a God damn hypocrite.
Turkey's in Australia aren't facing extinction like many native animals are. feral cats are directly contributing to extinctions of animals found nowhere else, what do you suppose we do Brenda?
Hunting feral cats should be an Olympic sport
Hunting stray dogs should be an olympic sport whats wrong with you the cats didn’t do anything wrong.
@@potatocats5716 feral cats are destroying the populations of small native reptiles ,birds and amphibians that's why they are killing them lol
Thank you Australia for leading the world in the removal of Earth's most destructive invasive species. I live in a town and I am somewhere near 100 in 25 years.
Spaniels are great dogs. Why the muzzle?
Good work, this is the only way to save our native animals
I thought the dingos or wild dogs would take care of them in the wild. Surprise that human intervention is needed.
@Burke Williams Wow! Didn't know that. Thanks
@Burke Williams LOL that sounds more like a lynx or mountain lion than a puddy cat. Thank God they don't attack humans.
Keep shooting
I’ve wondered why they never hunted the feral cats with dog like Americans hunt raccoons with dogs
That dog needs a real job
The only good cat is a dead cat. Put a bounty on them.
The only good dog is a dead one too. Cats are precious whats wrong with you people. Seriously go to a mental doctor.
@@potatocats5716cats are not precious, they are abundant and infinite in number.
Y'all need stop in thinking about this serious cat's are actually good for people who have health problem with cat it is real amazing they could save human lives because they can find out that you have cancer
Pet cats are good, feral cats are not good though considering in Australia alone they are believed to kill 1.4bn native species every year, and have caused multiple extinctions since their arrival to the continent.
I’ve been worried for a long time now I know I can do something about it they drive me nuts And chase the rainbow lorikeets away I hate these birds
Just made 1 of these took me about 3hrs. Have got 3 in the trap at midday. Happy i didnt spend hundreds on a trap
This is the very best detailed construction of the myna trap I have ever seen. Thank you so much!!!
I like cats......just can't eat a whole one myself
Made it. Oh wow it was a challenge (for me!) but done 😁. Other videos talk about the trapping “rules”. Set at night, etc, don’t let them see. They are a smart bird 😎. Anyone here have expertise with that side of it? I’d love to hear others’ tricks and tips. My cat killed one a couple of years back and every breeding season they go him. They don’t forget . . My local council I wish would go hard like they did in Canberra. Any info on Aus Councils that take their destruction as seriously? Any information folk can share I’d be grateful 👍
Why muzzle the dogs?
You want to be doing some night tracking with night vision equipment. Better than day work in the heat. And you cant spot these things 200~300 metres away ..... depending on how dense the bush is. And of course the dogs can be there when you finally close in on them ferals.
Make me laugh that here in uk many of the anti fox hunting lot are cat owners , there quit happy that tiddles cruelly torments small birds and mice ect before killing them ….but a hound can’t kill a fox in a couple seconds .
Myna birds are very delicious, just like quail... We paid $3,50c a bird at a restaurant, and now we trap and cook our own... I recommend that myna traps should come with myna bird recipes.
Where in Australia did you ever eat mynabirds at a restaurant? Sounds like bullshit
Can we also track the hunters, drivers, land clearers that do massive damage to the wildlife population? In QLD we killed off the entire flying fox population - should those responsible be tracked and eradicated? Further, penalties should be placed on dog owners whose animals kill native animals and possums. Lastly, merely, planting trees for revegetation on old mine sites isn't really enough when you consider the hundreds of years it takes to create an ecosystem.
And not a cat was found! Great work guys.
Cats need to be fully eradicated from Australia
Such a massive problem Australian government and councils don’t address the threat of feral and domestic cats on our environment.
Too much jabbering, mate.
Disgusting
Do they sell long legs at any hardware stores? 😅🇦🇺
Bob, your instruction is very professional. It's hard to miss anything here. It took me a little longer than on your film, but I did and after showing it on my backyard in half an hour, one is already inside and two next to it. Thanks from Sydney
Big open area that doesn't belong to these guys hunting these cats it's disgusting!!! Gods creatures.... stop trying to control everything
This world belong to all animals its a shame people don't appreciate the cat's they are beautiful
Each cat kills 3 native animals per day. These little murderers need to be killed at every opportunity.
This is heartless
Useless.
