I knew girls thst shared a tiny apartment. They had a bunkbed in their shared bedroom. Those bedrooms are large and unless someone wants privacy and is willing to pay more rent, they need to share with a roommate(s). And unless you have roommates sleep on pullout couches and put them away in the morning, while keeping their clothing and stuff in another bedroom, you'll lose the living room to beds in a makeshift third bedroom. It can be done!

That one bedroom apartment could’ve fit at least 12 people in there
