You start off thinking what an amazing box player he is, and then he opens his mouth to sing! Just wow.

I’m Chris Wood’s son. I grew up listening to this and a thousand other tunes coming up through my bedroom floorboards as a kid. Couldn’t ask for any better 😉.

I've hoped for the day that these 2 would sublimely entertain us all again.

Fabulous musicians and amazing performances. I was very priviliged to have been there to witness first hand.

It was beautiful and very moving to see these wonderful musicians perform at Shrewsbury festival. It will live long in my memory.

He was there at the beginning with the other legends, so if you want to see a unique competent guitar player and folk singer, age does not matter. If he can still get what is in his head onto the fingerboard it's magic.

Luckily I saw them at the National Folk Festival and then again on the Sunday at a folk club in Belper after the festival had finished.Minimum of effort but with the maximum of effect.

🤔I was at this gig and felt sorry for Martin who was not at his best. It was an embarrasing end to his set when he couldn't finish two songs. I'm afraid putting this clip up does nothing for his reputation. He is a legend and rightly admired but let's remember him in his heyday

Haven't heard this for a while ! I'll have to dig out the old L.P. IT impressed me at the time (71/72) ,still does . A lot of Ralph's songs have " long legs " Thanks Ralph for the treasure chest of goodies !
