Why do people ship them???? Question marks above my head- like they are good friend and Loki is already in love with Sylvie. I’m not against gay relationships but this one seems really wrong to me because it’s a friendship that is really more platonic.
Loki in the show basically says mobius to him is what Jane was to thor, that alone was what pretty much sold me on the ship

Yes, Tom, definitely. I literally breathed in relief that finally Loki had someone in his life like he needed that, like his mother was his mother, Thor is Thor, even other Loki's including Sylvie are themselves, but Mobius is the only one doesn't have to be there for him, doesn't have to get attached to him or continue to keep in touch but he does, he's the only one who chose to be by Loki's side, actually understand him, not judge him or try to give a definition to him but be a genuine friend and treat him normal you know. I really feel relieved that Mobius exist. Also he's such a sweetheart like oh ma gosh. Like I'm pretty sure the whole fandom adores him. He's also a character as Tom has said with whom Loki could actually share anything or even give anything, he could take a favor from him without thinking that he needs to pay him back, actually have a normal talk lmao. Mobius is also the 1st one to actually accept insight or words given by Loki without being skeptical or feeling mocked like he actually treats him like a person. Of course it also comes with the fact that he has studied Loki for years. In the end I'm just genuinely happy that this friendship exist.
Loki and Mobius makes more sense than Sylvie and Loki... Even Tom made it sound that way: Loki and Mobius kind of "have" to talk with each other, and are forced together *since ep1* but they become attached, in a way, with each other (LOKI IS LITERALLY ABLE TO BE FULLY HONEST WITH HIM??? AND SLEEP IN HIS PRESENCE???? LIKE) but with Sylvie, leaving out the part where she's literally Loki, has the same parents, adoptive family and last name,, it makes no sense why they were pushed together in my opinion,,, and the FACT that Tom even said that Mobius was the first person to be that nice and compassionate to Loki; wouldn't you think he would fall for that instead? like, realistically
Despite the fact that I ship Lokius too, I have a feeling that it was good they didn't fall in love in the first place because Loki and Sylvie fell in love but passion is something fleeting, while love, I mean TRUE LOVE is something that you build step by step and last forever. What did I mean with all that? I think that the Loki and Mobius relationship has a lot to evolve for something really beyond friendship.
Someone needs to explain to disney that romance is not a necessary part of the story and if you're too cowardly to go through with the gay ship that makes sense you can just do nothing. The god of love triangles won't kill you if you do nothing.

@@jdrailfan391 the writers, director and actress confirmed that it was not a distraction at least a thousand times over. they all said that Sylvie really loved Loki but was in too much pain to give up on her plan, and that she kissed Loki goodbye before sending him to a place where he would be safe because she didn't want to hurt him anymore. and Tom said that Loki didn't resent Sylvie, that he isn’t mad at her and would seek her out in Season 2.
Love how beautifully Tom talks about Loki no other actor in the MCU talks about his character in such deep and engaging way. If i was an actor i would love to play Loki. He is by far the one with the richest nature,he can be evil,dramatic, playful and cunning; it must be a thrill to portray so many emotions and feelings.
