This is amazing! I used to play the trumpet in school 6th grade through 11th I quit my junior year I wasn’t really that great here lately I’ve been wanting to pick the trumpet 🎺 back up and practice and play at my church ⛪️

It's great to hear all the negative comments. But there is one problem. All of you that says she sucks at drumming, I looked through the list and ive never heard from any of you. Therefore, you dont have room to talk about another persons playing. Ive been playing for 14 years and I think shes good. Im jot saying the best in thenworld. @catastrophesb Most female drummers are pitiful. This girl is no exception. This is a sorry excuse for a solo. She is just whaling on the drums. A drum solo is supposed to be captivating. The majority of Skillet fans I have seen know nothing of drums or have heard legitimate drums solos. I see a video titled "8 year old drum solo". I have a feeling I'll be more impressed by that than I was by this. Skillet is just riding the gimmick of having a female drummer. So lame.

I just went through and deleted some of the ignorant and stupid comments (mainly @conwayallday01's). EDUCATED opinions are welcome here, but use your brain before posting. Dont slam a band if you havent actually listened to their music and seen them live. And please keep it clean! :)

I never understand why people go crazy for double bass. even when it's not all that fast, she's a solid drummer but i just don't see anything special.

So many people that need to be technically correct. It must be hell to not be able to be simply entertained, but to have to "rate" every performance by anyone.

You ppl need to understand that criticism is not always an attempt to hurt/insult an individual. If you were ever trained on any instrument or job skill, it is the instructors job to criticize you to point out where you need to improve. I'd hate to see your reaction to a Marine Corp Drum Major teaching you as I did. You wouldn't last long with a real instructor if you can't take criticism. I'm sure Jen can take criticism and understand the value in it. I'm sure Jen prefers being a percussionist.

Much like many of the young girls playing drums on youtube they strive to be "drummers" not percussionists. I've played "classical" percussionist syle for 30 years and have also played punk rock/rock for over 20 years. Being classically trained and trained by the Marine Corps it is easy to spot a "drummer" which is an untrained person banging drums ie Dave Grohl (Nirvana). On top of it you admit she plays the same solo everytime which is lame. Go to a symphony to see real percussionist or 311

@supposeda3 Ok, it looks good, And she looks nice. No Question!. But it isn't very difficult what she plays. In every gig she plays the same riff on the toms and cymbels and she masked her annabillity to swing by using a double bass-pedal. Filling up de gapes in her play by pumping on it constantly. Very simple in fact. Drummers who play like that I use to call elephants. But she performs well !!!

Thanks! This arrangement was from Alfred's Top Praise & Worship trumpet solo book, you can get that book for any instrument I think. This is only half of my trumpet collection...I buy/repair/sell trumpets as a hobby, at any given time I usually have 15+ horns sitting around. Anyway, glad you liked it! Thanks a lot!
