This one is okay. Tarja was good, but only a couple tracks stand out. If you have heard one track with her, you have heard them all. It isn't a bad thing, she is just single faceted. She has that one style and that is what you get. I love Floor as the best they ever had, but Nightwish as a band peaked during their super long tour that she began with them. They have not captured anything close to that since. I'll put that on Tuomas, one has to write great compositions for the singer as well as the band.

No me gusta mucho la combinacion de Tarja y Nightwish. No pegan juntos. Son buenas piezas por separado, pero juntas no añaden valor, sin embargo el grupo con Floor Jansen si parece un grupo de rock en toda regla. Por eso me gusta mas Floor. Esa voz no pega en un grupo de rock.

No matter the Tarja/Floor argument, Toumas is the heart of Nightwish. Such talent to be able to adapt his music and pull out each singers attributes. Example, Sleeping Sun. Tarja has the perfect voice for it. Floor came off to strong for it, whereas, Greatest Show on Earth, Floor owns that song. I cannot hear Tarja singing it.

So, forced self to listen to Wacken’13 version. Then came back to EOAE version. Concluded, no contest. Only one sounds natural, powerful, effortless, emotional. It’s clear who naturally does song justice and who sounds like a cover band.

Kolopainen is an excellent songwriter .He also fired the first bass player,two vocalists,the drummer from the old times,,and the other bass guitarist.So....what i s left to say???/ Tarja was the best singer soprano ever and the majic love atmosphere of his songs.
