    That was interesting. I'll be honest with you I don't know anything about using flashes. I just never use them. I have that same flash that you use as a trigger but never used it. Enjoyed watching this who knows maybe I'll try it some day. Grt guido

      It's a fun session for sure, so many pets. Getting rid of the umbrella that I used to use made everything a lot easier and safer. The flashes recycle very fast and I get the shots. The batteries are important, that's the secret to short recycle times. I really love animals and this job is just great fun! Thanks for watching. Mike.

    Respect I know a lot of people that would have just bought a new printer... amazing how much ink you wiped out of that thing. I have small Epson ecotank printer also next to my canon. Untill now I've had no problems with it. What printer do you use for your big prints? Grt guido

    • @bellasvistas3463
      @bellasvistas3463 10 дней назад

      That little Epson ET-7700 doesn't get a whole lot of use, not sure why it tends to build up ink inside, probably cause I print mostly 5 by 7 borderless. I cleaned it once before but maybe not as thoroughly. I figured maybe better to service than replace with something maybe more or less reliable. I have an Epson 9880 44 inch printer as well. I have replaced the ink dampers and the capping station on that one as well.

    Beautiful scenery and colour Mike. Just hitting peak colour here in the UK but the peristant heavy rain we have currently will soon drop leaves and reduce the impact. Love your miles of straight road! The Romans built us Brits a few but our ancesters thought these to be boring and anything built afterwards, they built with lots of bends. I think its to make us concentrate behind the wheel😂. Our new national pastime is dodging potholes.

      @bellasvistas3463 No, but you do have many more birds and great places for bird photography in their natural habitat. At least, that's what I think. In the netherlands, they are imminently gone if ypunstopnwith your car, for example.

    My Grandfather worked for Brunswick Balke in Toronto on Hannah Ave. after WW1. I still have his vintage hand tools from that era. He was a cabinet maker taught in the UK. I get my woodworking skills from him.

    Mike, I think you convinced my wife and I to make a return visit to the west coast of Newfoundland next year. We were there over 14 years ago and loved it. I think we will spend more time there this time. I must say though our recent June trip to the eastern side was spectacular for puffins and gannets. Are you encountering mosquitoes and black flies in August? We are Florida people but shy away from bugs, ironically we live on the Mosquito Lagoon on the east coast. Great photos!

      Didn't get too many mosquitoes and black flies. In Bonavista there were some at sunset and sunrise. It was just great. Thanks for watching and especially for commenting 😊. Mike

    Love the eagle shots Mike and especially that old bridge. The black and white version really brings out the texture. Have you ever tried malt vinegar on your fish? I doubt there’s a town here in the UK without at least one fish and chip shop😂 and thats how us Brits eat our fish, a little salt and malt vinegar. I look forward to your next post.

    Ow I get what you mean with different fog in Canada. That is some proper thick fog there. I always love it myself makes searching for minimalist images really easy. Nice to see the whales. Seen them in south africa a couple of times but never got really close to them. Just from the land qatchibg them swim trough the bay. Great video Mike keep them comming! Frt guido

    That thumbnail is a great shot. I’ve never been a big fan of postprocessing filters, but this one instance is very convincing. All the photos at the end were like dessert after the main course. 😊

      Thanks Roderick: This video isn't doing very well at all. When I saw the old bridge right away I knew that I wanted a B&W as gnarly as possible. We did our best on it. We're been on the road over 2 months now. Trying to do our best in spite of the weather. Maybe our Ontario images will fare better in terms of views. Thanks again for watching and appreciating our images. Mike

      @@bellasvistas3463 my impression is that you have to choose between love for your craft and a high volume of views. The mass market used to read the National Enquirer. Now it watches videos about a man in Florida who hunted and ate an unsuspecting alligator impersonating Elvis Presley.

    Wow that last purple sky shot was amazing. I love all the colours you have down there. Houses, benches, rocks and boats, verything had colour. Here everything is grey or black of white. Go to a parking and 95 percent of all card are that colour also. Dutch people are really boring when it comes to using colours around they're houses. Grt guido
