I was able to find this playlist by Zichgrim of the game: ruclips.net/p/PLoRuaOxd0arqdhCI0XcEj30P4sUbTkCi5 and their channel has more videos on it. This means I don't think I'll play it since this playthrough is quite extensive. What I find helps when using google is to use quotation marks to highlight key words. I was able to find the above by typing in "new" off fangame (the new in quotation marks filters all videos to only those containing that word). It's not perfect but it helps.

Yeah, I'm surprised not many others have played it. I remember having issues with files a year ago initially but retried recently and it worked! On an unrelated note, I do find your comments on a lot of older games from a year or 2 ago so I wouldn't be surprised if there's often any overlap between the games played here and that you play.

It's been a while since I played but, from what I remember, it was a really good game; I enjoyed it a lot (including learning about the different African cultures and how you incorporated them into the game) and it seems all the difficult parts had already been addressed by previous updates by the time I played it so they were skippable if needed. I look forward to seeing how the updated version turns out :D. The only major complaint I remember having was the fishing minigame. It seemed completely unplayable using the keyboard (I don't have a controller) but it wasn't a compulsory piece of the game so eh. That and I remember taking two hours trying to unlock the super slide since it wasn't clear that after breaking the four crystals, you needed to interact with the evil Lanoa so I just went around continually breaking the crystals once they reset though maybe that's my own lack of a brain, hehe (it's been edited down in this video to when I did complete it).

@@creepicatfish I finished watching your playthrough. I am very impressed that you were able to find and complete so many of the secrets in the game including the one where you restored water to the desert. Frankly, I doubt most players of the game will ever figure that one out but you did which is awesome. As for why the completion bonus didn't work for you, I think you may have missed a cave on the moon which had a final level up and looking at your stats I think you missed a single Magic Seed though off the top of my head, I'm not sure which one that would be. In the updated version I'm pretty sure that final level up I moved to be somewhere on earth and put a different prize in said moon cave. Also, I've been thinking to remove the requirement of getting all the seeds for the completion bonus. Anyway, for the most part though you found nearly everything in the game which like I said is very impressive. As for what that completion bonus was, it allows you to play as Rawjal which is mostly a cosmetic thing but she does have some differences in that her cure spell works differently and faster and instead of the duck and slide move she can teleport which sorta works like the superslide in practice. Plus Rawjal could use those mysterious purple swirls you saw across the world to access a few small bonus maps. So, as for the fishing mini game, I have good news, the updated version has a option to change the way it plays. Another player also had difficulty with the fishing so I now I've made it so that instead of doing a circle motion the player can just do alternating taps of left and right to bring in the fish. As for the struggle to get Super Slide from evil Lanoa, after watching your video I came up with an idea, I will make it so that evil Lanoa ducks down when she is vulnerable, that I think should give the player a better visual cue. I've already compiled a hefty list of notes from watching your video. Although there likely won't be time to include them for the upcoming Open Beta, the final version of the game (that I plan to release in 2025) will include changes that are based on what I saw of your playtime.

I unfortunately don't remember too well... Just try to mix and match the choices you get when they appear and you'll eventually get it. I think it might have to do with the choice at 22:59 but I'm not entirely sure. Sorry for that....

I definitely liked the game a lot. It has a really unique yet nostalgic style due to the use of mixed media and 2000s imagery and it integrates itself into the story really well. I don't know if I would say it's a top 3 but I do highly regard it

I don't think the random encounters were so bad. I like the concepts of your games, how they're incorporated into the narrative and the art but I'd say the biggest issue I encountered were bugs. 'Project SHELF-L1,F3' had one where you couldn't enter test room D (I think?) and 'Blueberry + Strawberry' glitched out after defeating Strawberry, which was a shame since the build up of both of them had me intrigued. At least I can tell you about it now. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing your old game again. It's weird to see how one progresses while playing their newer games. I hope you enjoyed making it, hehe

Props to your son for making this and props to you for supporting and encouraging him with this project! The fact he used his own art is the extra cherry on top of the cake. I hope it was as fun creating the game as I had going through it :)

I really did enjoy this, thought the text needs a bit of cleaning up but the plot and cast were solid. One thing I guess I didn't get is during the bad ending and just in general on the plot, Evaness was trying to basically expose people to the fact that horrible things were happening without their knowledge, such as the mayor's cult but even when she did the ritual, people just ignored it because they didn't want to see the truth? Is that what was going on?

@@windego999 many things in my games are vague and open for interpretation, but what you need to know - in their world spirits of the dead are a scientifical phenomena, so most people are not interested in them. Some people can hear the dead lingering to this world bc of some unsolved business. But those spririts are merely echoes and can't affect this world. That's what The Church wants people to know at least... That's why Evaness was diagnosed with hallucinations. Was the things she saw real or not? Who knows? Do you believe her?😉 P.S. Every game of the series contains parts of the lore, 3 more games are still in the making:))

Interesting interpretation! On Deisha's end, I saw it more as representing the slowness and failure of bureaucratic elements of the government in helping the public sort out documents and other issues and the use of nepotism and personal connections to actually get things done while the critique of employees was more so focused on Imvirissis and Deisha's brother. It's certainly a unique and open game, which I appreciate a lot.

Yeah, it's not just this game but some others I've played have also been deleted and with RMN being down, a lot of games are lost. A shame, really.

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure why there were other options unless they were there for fun. It's definitely the most interesting game in terms of the fact the protagonist wasn't the one to be sent to the other world but their daughter and a nice twist having played the others.

@@creepicatfish Basically, what happened is that I almost made the fights against the "demons" more difficult, but then, I remembered what the "demons" were, and... For the sake of the story, I made them harmless. So, the additional items ended up being fluff.
