:) If you open your map, you can tell a lot of information about the rough direction of where the enemies are. Expect the majority of enemies to be approaching from their objective and their territory. You can also see where all of your teammates are looking and expect the bulk of your team to be facing off against the enemy team. Garrisons and Outposts will also flag red when enemies are close to them. All of this is good information as to which direction the enemy is at. Once you've got a general idea of where the enemy is at, you want to survive long enough to see them. Think about your character's sillhouette, make sure you're staying behind cover and concealment and avoid sticking your body out too much. Move from cover to cover and think about the difference between cover and concealment. Elevation is also important, if you're on top of a hill then your sillouette is going to stick out significantly more than if you're half way down a hill. Then for actually spotting the enemy. Peak around corners slowly, piece by piece. If you're going to move, scan the surroundings first and then move. Just get used to taking things a bit slower and scanning the surroundings. Just keep scanning the surroundings. If there's one enemy in an area, there's going to be more. If you can find a squad with good comms (hard these days because there's a huge number of new people), then you will have an easier time finding enemies. Your squad leader will also be able to communicate with other SLs and mark some targets for you. @@specray21 It's a great game and I want more people to play it. But it's not a game for everyone, it's a game that relies heavily on communication and a lot of new players don't have or use their mics. Looking at this gameplay footage, I feel bad for you because you're not getting the full experience of this game. It's a team game, your squadmates are supposed to be calling out targets, your squad leader is supposed to be giving you instructions and actually leading you and communicating with other squads and the commander. But in this video, you're running around blindly in silence. I'd never have gotten into this game if all I experienced was this. I hope you find a good squad leader and discover where the real fun of HLL is. Try community servers, that's where regulars are. Clan servers are the place to be.
