this was incredibly wholesome!! i am always a fan of introducing family to things i love and this was very heartwarming. i adore critical role very much and it completely changed my life and i’ve been waiting for some album reactions to come out because i love experiencing this joy and excitement with other people so thank you both for allowing me to share this moment with you. also, for “Winter Anymore” i can definitely understand how it feels more like a mariah song, but i think you’ll be very surprised at how emotional it is once you eventually learn more about yasha. it instantly got me super emotional since i knew yasha’s whole story. as far as a favorite, it’s so hard to choose between “Cold Inside” and “O Mighty Nein” for me because i really loved how fun “Cold Inside” was with laudna and imogen, but i also am so emotionally attached to caleb widogast and the mighty nein (mighty nein is also my favorite group and campaign) so “O Mighty Nein” really hit hard when i first heard all the lines being about caleb’s found family and i still tear up if i listen to it multiple times. your reactions really made my day and i hope you have fun watching the rest of campaign 2 (prepare some tissues!)!! happy holidays!

Florence is English but a lot of her art is influenced by Pagan themes. I think only her earliest work lacked this creative style and was more pop-industry (predictable). Every video I've seen of hers since probably 2010 has involved some kind of Pagan theme. Even when she invokes Christian imagery (in the video for "Delilah", for example) there's a very gritty and Pagan undertone to it. She also apparently loves to incorporate classical art into her recent videos. I don't know if this is the influence of Autumn de Wilde, who is an amazing director, but I get the feeling it's a collaborative effort because they've worked together a lot. Very enjoyable reaction! :)
