ESC Duck Hunt

Emsworth Sailing club host CoW week every year. Children on the Water week. They usually have a game where 400 ducks are released into the water and the kids collect them to win prizes. There are some unorthodox sailing techniques to be seen. but great fun.

Snowy Southsea

The day after the Beast from the East. Just surreal to see Southsea winterised. It doesn't happen that often and when it does it really is just magical. Plus I got to try out a DJI Mavic Air. What a neat little drone, given that it was quite windy the image is very stable.

Flying on a Sunday Afternoon

We just wanted to try and capture some microlite flying from an external source other than a camera bolted to the microlite. Definitely need a faster drone and a second person to operate the camera. Both Pilots in constant radio communication with each other

The Solent Wheel, Clarence Pier. A little tribute to Southsea.
you are a Genius!!!
Genuis! Thank you
I had a bad experience doing this. On a scooter under the seat at the front. I treated the fuel filler cap cover with hot air. Since these parts are slightly curved, by heating it, it straitened out so the edges of the cover didn’t fit in anymore and it even didn’t lock in. If I knew it before, I think I should have precurved it before heating it. So with the cover slightly opened, precurve it more than the original position and keep it fixed with a wire that goes around in the inside. Let it cool of before taking the tensioner out. Probably during the production process some parts of a product gain tension that got released while heating it, so it deforms.
Just bought the magnets thanks for this. Will do until I replace it.
I'm still using the magnets 3 years on. The only thing I have changed is a self tapping screw into the back plastic. The magnets attached to that.
@@nigelwillis8184 so you replaced the 2 magnets that were glued to the plastic recessed part with a tiny self tapping screw and kept just the magnets on the flap? was the glue not good enough (the magnets eventually came out) or just felt like changing it? 😅 mine has been annoying me recently, noticed it was open after parking a couple times the last few days...
@@pxKappa The glue must have given up, they just attached themselves to the other magnets... The screw is a nice alternative; yes, a self tapper in the recessed part of the plastic. The magnets stay in the flap
@@nigelwillis8184what Mm magnets did you get ?
That’s so smart wtf
How do you line up the 5 small ones
They're magnets.... they line themselves up.
how do you treat the material afterwards?
that is fuckin awesome
Would love an update after the latest dredging.
More please 👍👍
Very clever solution
Brilliant!!
Legend 👍
Sad to hear a lot of names I served with. I see Scouse Vernon is still fat🤣
A salute and bow to the Royal Navy Divers who died in Service. A beautiful memorial garden. All those names. From a Royal Engineers guy who trained at Horsea and HMS Vernon.
Nice fix! What is the size of the magnets? Could it be 2mm x 1mm?
Search on eBay for Super Strong Magnets 1/4" x 1/32" Thin Small Powerful * 240g PULL * Disc 6mm 1mm
Very Nice 👍💯🔥
Thanks I just hate throwing good money away and changing the whole unit is such a ball ache
Did u glue the magnet on mate
It seems so too me
I glued 2 magnets to the Plastic bit using a very strong adhesive. The rest just use magnetism to stick on to the metal flap. I bought the magnets from eBay for about £3.00
