I did not expect to get this far into the list with beethoven sonata 17 (tempest), but I kinda do see, it is really tough to play. And I am on the verge of becoming an asian with winterwind, tho it is taking and obscene amount of timw tl practice xD Guess I need to actually become asian to play it xD

As a pianist, the best way for me to guage how difficult a piece is, is by seeing the sheet music. That way, I can see the scale, time signature, tempo, the patterns, the distance between notes, and how awkward some of the chords are.

I'd argue that Khachaturian's Toccata is harder than Level 5 (level 6 in my opinion and much harder than Turkish March).

Beethoven les adieux is definitely much harder than tempest.

Also level 10 Chopin’s ballade and Liszt’s Hungarian rhapsody no 2 friska

i am plaing level 9+ but i think i can play the level 10 the op10 no1 is harder than liszt beacose it is on tempo 150+ like 176 i think

I agree with most, but Winterwind is not as hard as the revolutionary etude I feel like Winterwind is way to high in general

You left out the hardest part of schubert impromptu op 90 no 2 (level 7), the coda (played fast and without mistakes)

But Hungary Rhapsody is a 8 in Henle

I would say HR2 is easier than fantaisie-impromptu, from personal experience.

This was about 90% accurate. Way better than other tier lists! To fix things, Tempest would be in tier 7 with Hungarian Rhapsody as 9. 10 would ideally be Hammerklavier or something. The other pieces are a little inaccurate, but it’s fine I can’t blame you. Excellent job with the Rhapsody. Keep improving; you’re a grade 10-11 level right now. 👏🏼👏🏼
