Great video! I bought the whole Affinity suite when it first came out (it was cheap) , to try to wean off Photoshop but never managed it. I am a card maker and use craft artist and drawplus8 and am very interested in affinity designer and learning how to use it. Can you tell me about the tutorials you have and how I can get them. Thank you for these helpful videos. I have used Craft Artist for decades but it is now not working so I need to move over to Affinity Designer so this is very useful. You mentioned that you do paid 90 minute classes. Are you still doing these and if so how do I book myself on to them?

Fabulous tutorial. I love your expertise and ability to clearly demonstrate this technique. Is this only possible with Affinity 2?

Really interested in this programme. I feel the more Windows is upgraded e.g from 10 to 11 etc,the more problems we may experience with Craft Artist 2. Seriously thinking of Affinity will need to decide 1 or 2. Question on pages:-I love the 2 page demo but would I be able to select a page from CA eg blank template such as a trifold card from CA2 blank template list and then export it as a blank PDFas you did in this video? I am trying to prepare in case the programme ceases to work save in advance what I may miss from it.

Thank you so much for doing these videos. I have had Affinity photo, designer and publisher and haven't really used any of them properly. One question though, to stop the icons disappearing, you said to hit the key between shift and z but on my keyboard, there is nothing between the shift and z. Can you tell me what symbol I am looking for as I think it may be in a different place for me. I am using a retro 'clicky' keyboard so it may be that some of the keys are arranged differently.

Don't know if you are aware but Susan Faruggia gives classes on both Craft Artist and Affinity they are brilliant, they show how we can use these programmes to our advantage. Susan is a patient teacher very informative and will explain things over and over until we get it, if you want to learn more send her a message find out if she can help. We all think she is great

That is very nice using the foil I had not thought about that befor as I have done a few cut files myself. Not as involved as your one only one layer.

Hi Susan Hope you are well. Really interesting video thank you. I hope you might be able to show if TODO foils and hot foil plates work with the Glimmer machine and also, possibly, foiling using standard dies which I seem to remember is possible.
