I have a third 12,000w RMS amp powering two 21" horn subs, so it's over 40kw all in all. 600 amp service would be great because I have popped the main breaker to the house!

@@lukeamdman85 well, get soundproofing + hearing protection or reduce gains at safe listening position. 50% volume for 2 hours max. Assuming, you will enjoy for just 2 hours, as 1 movie = 2 hours.

Retro Force All eight of these 21s are now ported with a 14hz tune with 24,000w RMS powering them. Maybe with ~20 of the SVS 16 Ultra they'd be comparable.

@@lukeamdman85 woah! Calm down! That's way too much power! Just 1x SVS PB16 Ultra will be more than sufficient! More or less redundant, to explain in simple words. 80-103db more than enough.. for personal use. 142db, is more useful for outdoor. Indoors, 110db max.. not above that, for safety reasons. Trust me.

SYCO Miami FLow GROW I use (3) SpeakerPower SP2-12000 amps for the subs. F25 is a good sub, but you should checkout the JTR Captivator 1400 for a little more $$.

@@lukeamdman85 oh yeah ur the guy that has that dual tapped horn IPALS. What happened to your tc sound subs? Didn’t u change them to Audio judgement or something

@@abielpangga6314 A few of the TC subs make it into some tapped horns, but they were all eventually sold. I still have 8x Incriminator Audio Judge 21" subs in ported enclosures.

Back then it was a passive Cap4000 (20hz tune). Closest thing now days is the passive Cap2400 (17hz tune).

+Universe369 It's a SPL Lab USB meter. Basically a TermLab clone that can read up to 183db. Accurate to 0.1db and never needs calibration.

@@lukeamdman85 is this amount of db able to hurt your hearing? it rattles the camera :D haha

@@Mientras_Tanto Yes, these levels sustained for even a few minutes can cause hearing damage. My theater only reaches these SPL levels maybe once per year for demo purposes.

​@@lukeamdman85 the first scene of the plane in "the flight of the phoenix 2004" it's probably gonna destroy your hearing if played at those levels, its insanely loud low bass and for a couple of minutes, i listen at -20db and its painful haha

@@Mientras_Tanto That's one of my favorites, and I've actually upgraded this system since this video. I can now reach peak DB levels of 155db at the seats.

Definitely. Some of the best subs I've owned for HT.
