if you owned a PS5 then go for ps portal. but y700 can also be your PS remote play since you can download the app at PS website. if i were to choose i would pick the Y700 since you can also do more like browsing socmed, productivity, and also play android games natively. just pair the y700 with a decent controller like gamesir galileo g8 plus.

i recommend more internal storage 512gb. 12gb ram is enough but storage isnt if its 256gb. so 16gb ram/512gb rom it is.

The game doesn't even need that much ram. Choose a bigger storage cuz this device has no memory card option.

I’m not sure, but maybe Wuthering Waves runs hotter on the Lenovo Y700 (2023) compared to the Y700 (2024/25). If it does run hotter, it might result in noticeable frame drops or stuttering.

you need to download Sunshine app on your host pc then moonlight app in your device (android/apple phone and tablet, smart tv, laptop) where to stream. you can also play your PC remotely anywhere as long as you have stable wifi if you use tailscale. just search in youtube how to setup moonlight game streaming

It's considered hot if the temperature reaches above 43°C, especially when you crank the graphics settings to maximum. The device can easily reach 43°C or higher after 20 minutes of gameplay. That's why I posted a video using the default graphics settings, as the temperature stays below 40°C even after extended gameplay. Based on this, I would say the optimal temperature for this device during gameplay is around 40°C with default graphics settings. I also recommend purchasing the genuine flip case for this unit. It prevents your hand from coming into direct contact with the metal back cover, which can feel quite hot when the temperature exceeds 43°C.

yes and cheaper. for streaming games jk03 is enough since it doesn't heat much. but when you play games natively to the phone you'll be needing a cooler if you want your phone live longer.

Sorry, I can’t. I don’t have those games. I mostly use this tablet for Moonlight streaming, but I think it can handle all AAA native games from the Play Store smoothly at default graphics and max FPS settings. You don’t need to use max graphic settings on an Android device, as it will strain the battery and could shorten its lifespan to less than a year or two.

check 30mins gameplay on wuwa cost 15% battery. it would cost 30% battery in 1hour usage in this graphically demanding game (wuwa). but overall battery is good on this when just surfing the web or doing social media, can last 7+ hrs.

​@@DuniaIsBumiyes, if you cancel the battery health saver (limits charge to 80%). i mostly use my tab indoor i really don't mind battery life for a day since it can be charge 0~100% within an hour and a single full charge can last 3hrs screen on time more or less with WUWA. I also used the bypass cable charging too as there's another usb c charge slot at the side, very cool feature.

It's just fairly good for the price I paid ($75). However, the screen looks dull in color, and the resolution is only 800 x 1340, which is not very impressive. Additionally, it lacks WiFi 6, resulting in random stuttering or delays, especially if multiple people are connected to the router. You could consider the newly released Alldocube iPlay 60 Mini Turbo tablet, which has an 8-inch screen. I can’t confirm if it uses WiFi 6, but it runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which Snapdragon claims supports WiFi 6E.

I'm just streaming the game to my tablet from my laptop (graphic setting on laptop is set to high)

so far its good, i can play RDR2, WUWA, GTAV, BeamNG but with slight stutter for more or less than 5sec every after 5mins or more. i'm using AX3000 router (Mercusys MR80X), i was playing 5mtrs away with partition wall from the router (Wifi Bar - 3/4) at the same time when i was recording this, my 4 family member's phone connected to the router. i guess its due to those connected device which is why i'm having randomly spike ping. i'm soon planning to add another router Xiaomi BE6500 for myself use only for streaming my games.

yes, it will take the whole screen as controller. you can connect with keyboard and mouse set with wireless type c connector to play with keyboard or a usb c splitter connector with wired keyboard and mouse. or just use a gamepad controller. or play with your potato laptop or tablet as long as it supports 50mbps+ wifi speed. also try speedtest your network. latency needs to be below 80ms.

native recorder, it seems there's an issue with native recording on audio when recording in this game wuwa. other games there's an audio while this game wuwa no audio.

@@vinzzniv8264 I see interesting. What's weird to me is why the game can't record and play at 1080 p with a solid 50-60 fps range. I used a red magic 9 pro where I max out game and recording settings, and I can record with decent 50-60 FPS on snapdragon 8 gen 3 chipset, before Red Magic messed up their gpu driver and now I run wuthering waves on dirt low FPS. In terms of benchmarks, oneplus 12 with no thermal throttling can reach red magic 9 pro's level of scores.

Was your phone already hot or thermal throttling before recording your gameplay?

​@@winterwinter5487no, just warm. it didnt get too hot even in the span of 40min gameplay. wuwa now just got new update. its even more smoother to play with the new update. i will try record again with the new update with high performance mode activated on the phone.
