I honestly can't fault the simplex ultra, it's a great machine, the depth is great, it finds the tiniest signals (sometimes very annoyingly lol ) and seems to be an all round great machine for the price. My settings are field mode , sensitivity 26-28, 0_15 notched out, no iron volume. although next trip out ill be testing no iron discrimination. Usually hunt on F2 channel but have seen a lot of people saying that F3 is quieter. ive had no issue with F2 but im gonna try it out for reference. Hope this helps..

@@Detecting_Valhalla nothing of any history hear detecting was never about the money or gold nuggets England has the rich history we would measure the season by the amount of hammerd silvers we found get enough of them and the odd gold will follow good luck

@Detecting_Valhalla I'm probably being a bit impatient with the score if I'm honest. The thing is with the simplex I was getting targets straight away, but my first outing with the score I only hit 2 good signals/targets in a six hour session. To be fair it was land I'd never been on before and nobody else found very much. It may just be my impatience, I will be giving it a proper workout though.
