Ammonia could be practical to
Methanol to gasoline prossess
Every energy has its own problem(s) but how many energy can be this clean this much and this sustainable. Hydrogen is best possible alternative energy ❤😊
I’m all for synthetic fuels but i fear the cost per litre for a car will be very high at around $4 a litre I’ve heard
Consider my thoughts on this subject. At thoughtsonclimate.blogspot.com/2023/12/thoughts-concerning-climate-change.html

Great presentation Niels. Congratulations
Which companies are at the forefront of bio-gas and bio-energy production? I am searching for an opportunity to expand my skillset in this renewable energy industry as graduate chemical engineer. What stepping stones would you suggest to reach this goal?
Hi @jurieccilliers. Last year we ran a course of six hydrogen masterclasses with an expert trainer. These are still available to watch on-demand and could be what you are after. You can find them here - gasworld.tv/class-of-h2/
If governments have the will they will start or be a major catalyst for these green hydrogen mega projects. Similar to the Defence Production Act which is invoked during wartime.
Ammonia is consisting of 17,6 % hydrogen only. So you are transporting rather nitrogen than hydrogen. And the organic solvents can take about 5% Hydrogen only. To transport millions of tons of hydrogen, one would need 100 million tons of such solvents. Based on fossile oil. As the chemical industry in Europe is declining, who will produce it. And who will build all rhe ships to transport all the stuff. Senor Calvo is talking linke blind about colours.
Seninle gurur duyuyorum güzel Kızım
I’m currently running e85 (83% ethanol, tested) runs quite well in my FFV. With the assistance of a throttle controller I’ve achieved matching C/H miles of ethanol to gasoline. Other adjustments are incoming to maximize MPG in my V8 vehicle
I’d mine the land fills for metals and use the rest to generate fuels. It’s the next generation of energy fields and you don’t need expensive exploration.
Stephon's phobic about methane is irrational. Bio-wastes produce methane are natural. Even they aren't moved to land fields, they are still producing methane somewhere, somehow and that is the nature. Each methane molecule trapped four hydrogen atoms, which saves us a lot of energy to compress hydrogen, so methane is very useful fuel.

Is Gulf Helium interested in the two helium projects in Tanzania?
thank you for this update. people don't realize how absolutely dependent the US has become on Russia and China for our key raw materials. most people have no idea what we actually use helium for - it's not balloons folks! It is an interesting topic and with the major tie in to shipping maybe you and Sal could do a video together on this topic. Just a thought. Thanks again for the update.
that's mostly incorrect, US is not dependent on russian helium, and china does not export its own marginal production.
I'm sorry but there are import bands from Russia even though Helium is not specifically target, even if the war ends tomorrow companies will not want to rely on Russia for such a critical resource. How can you say that?
Agreed, people "will not want to rely" on Russia or other countries for critical raw materials, BUT the US environmental regulations especially have forced our dependence on other counties. While the US may have the resource, in many many cases the US can not refine a raw material into a usable state in the US. We have outsourced our dangerous, hazardous and labor expensive work to other countries. So we have forced dependence. Forced dependence also makes the US vulnerable to shipping. Regulations about age, speed, power source, countries of origin, operation, what flag a ship sails under, etc. all contribute to our vulnerabilities. Our ports add to our vulnerability with intense regulations, fines, backlogs, strikes, etc. We have cut off our nose long ago and changing the situation is not realistic any time soon with regulation, lead times and lawsuits. We rely on China for the key refined input to make our fighter jets. Helium cools our MRI machines and does so much more. The impacts are devastating and people need to know about it. Regarding the bans, there are a lot of exceptions, for Russia and other countries, because we made it impossible to do otherwise. We (and others) still buy a lot of things from Russia directly just check the Import reports from the governments.
at the right price- yeah they will. but i don't believe helium will be targeted in sanctions any time soon
@@TheBackStory22 check the reports and you won't find helium from russia there. but i agree on the regulations, US helium reserves should be protected, however i doubt these will be boosted by russian helium
We got the same name bud ..I'm also Diego Loaiza😅
but Cryogenic make cost of LNG is high
Can you recommend, a Carbon-neutral fuel company, that we can buy shares?
Green methanol is carbon neutral. Ammonia is carbon neutral. What's the difference? Neither fuel theoretically emits carbon dioxide when we look at the whole cycle. So why is one better than the other? Now I know that practical reality can be different. We can't really compare the two technologies without doing them. And then you have to look at them very clearly to see what what the costs and the advantages are. But this idea that methanol emits CO2 and ammonia doesn't is nonsense. As long as the CO2 to make the methanol is coming from the air or any other non-fossil fuel source there is no problem.

Colder parts of the world? = Europe this winter. No more Nordstream.
Question : how QUICKLY runs that chemical process that produces those synthetical fuels ? Even when the necessary green electricity would be available . I have heard about a setup in Germany that does everything from electricity to the synthetical fuel product in the flask . They produce 1 liter per day ! Could that process not quicker ? Thank you .
There’s never a shortage of crises to invoke fear and concern in our lives. All planned.
We have to push the following points: Inclusion of EN15940 in the Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV), thus synthetic and paraffinic fuels finally allowed to be sold at gas stations in Germany. Promotion of sustainable, regenerative Biofuels from residual and waste materials and Increasing the greenhouse gas reduction quota CO2 and GHG reduction in road traffic. Eligibility of relevant sustainable, renewable fuels on the CO2 targets within the EU fleet regulation (EU 2019/631).

Hey Thierry are you really the reincarnation of Prince Morte Philip ?? or just the same oozing spirit ? no guilt no shame on the slaughter eh ?? oh Dantes vision awaits you
well, must feel pretty stupid now, don't you :) trusting in gazproms amur, very... reasonable...
Not a word about Fischer Tropsch XTL that’s already commercial.
Looks incredibly energy intensive.
But more to the point, why would you want to produce synthetic fuel to feed an ever shrinking market, as ICE cars grow older and wear out, break down, and generally become unviable to repair. It's the road to nowhere, and pretty pointless. The cost would be prohibitive too. Current synthetic petrol (Aspen) already costs around 4 times the price of normal unleaded. This stuff aint gonna be cheap......
Because the industrial world doesn't run on just passenger cars, and many of the machines that make the world work, like, say, those fancy flying contraptions called "aeroplanes". It is very, very, very unlikely that we will ever make an HFC or electric plane. Same could be said of tractors, tractor trailers, heavy machinery, so on, and so on. Further, if the synthetic fuel technology gains enough traction, I'm certain consumer ICE vehicles will remain in the market to some degree. Probably more niche breeds like offroad trucks, and sports cars. The econo-shitbox cross over SUV is probably going to go electric (or HFC) and stay that way.
Wow!😃 Sir Paddy Lowe keeping us at the edge of our seats😅... I'm enjoying how divine patience truly is a virtue at this moment. This marvellous innovation is one to look out for. #amazinglowe
