    HOW BOUGHT PAYING THEM FAIR?

    • @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast
      @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast 2 дня назад

      Yes - but what is "fair?" if they aren't being paid "fair"- if the employer has them hired at a discount, why doesn't the employee go to somewhere else where they can be paid "fairly" - what they're worth? Wouldn't that be a opportunity for another employer somewhere else? Everyone is paid exactly what they're worth, including you including me. The hiring market is a great clarifying factor here. The big idea: If I want more income, I have to bring more value to clients - (or in the case of an employee,) my boss!

    Companies should stop the travesty of under paying their employees and actively paying their employees what is a fair wage. Without being forced by a law. The number of companies that will do a company wide survey asking their employees " oh, by the way do you want us to pay you for working more.?" Well ethically, duh!!! pay people. Companies would have no worries if they weren't cheap and paid their employees a decent wage. If your employees are well taken care of just like your consumers, that company will never have anything to worry about. But companies know this, though. If you want "good" employees, treat them well and they'll be "good". If you treat them like peasants and that their beneath you, the company shouldn't be shocked when they act as such. On the "companies dime," no on the companies penny. Setting their handing out crumbs to your employees and shocked that your employees aren't all jolly skipping into the building doors as cheerful as can be coming to work. Smh. These companies need to become the employee their asking their staff to be

    You obviously have never had your pension plan frozen and turned over to the government in the middle of your working career! ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) didn't do shit for my pension and the thousands of pension plans that were terminated or frozen, then turned over to the government (PBGC). My 401k is turning out more money than my SSA payment and it will always be mine or my kids when I die. SSA give you $255.00 when you die and I paid into it for 50 years!

    • @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast
      @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast Месяц назад

      If you want to leave something efficiently to your children when you die, check out life insurance! That's exactly what it's designed for. The 401K will leave a large portion of your retirement money to the government EG. if you have $100,000 in your 401k, you'd leave 50K to each kid. But they'd have to pay taxes (fed and state taxes, let's say at 35%), so that's a net amount of $35,000 for each kid. and the government will get 15K x 2 kids = 30K... 30K to IRS 35K to each kid... but what if you used life insurance instead? Govt = $0 Kids = MORE than 50K each!

    • @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast
      @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast Месяц назад

      Yes in my video I’m talking about 401(k) is not IRAs. You have more options in an IRA, however you’re still under the government’s thumb in terms of contribution limits, when you can take the money out etc. If you want the government to tell you when you’re finally old enough to be responsible enough to have your own money, go for it!

      @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast it doesn't specify on the title. Where is my limit on how much I can make on my 401k or ira. I am only in a partnership with the government with my 401k match seeing my 401k has a roth option. Every time someone talks down about 401k there is a insurance scheme or real estate potential scam. I first heard about this strategy nearly a decade ago. I’ll admit, I was pretty skeptical for a long time… Fortunately someone I am very close with took the leap and tried the strategy for themselves despite numerous warnings from many family members and friends. I am so grateful for I was in a position were I was able to see first hand, a real live (and “non-magical”) instance of exactly what Mark is describing play out several times over the last decade. It absolutely blew my mind to learn this was actually a legitimate financial vehicle! It wasn’t long after that before I set up the strategy for myself. As a real, non-magical person, I can personally attest to the validity of what Mark is sharing and it’s changed not just my life forever, but countless others for generations to come.

Maybe a good idea to get a second opinion before you dig too deep into the policy you bought. Train tracks trace to Rom chariot wheels which grooves in stone anf dirt streets. England has a very long Roman stone road that has such. Long street (?). It was fairly straight. It was used for first horse drawn train. Then wooden planks were stuck in edge wise and wedged/ cemented to form wooden rails. And size was copied in iron. Jilius Caesar's chariot would run on our RR today. Not whimsical.

      You don't seem to understand the point of reserve banks, it's there to control the interest rate and hence the inflation rate. Which is a tool the government uses to control the economy during a bad recession in order to boost the economy. That's just one example of its use. To learn more you can check monetary policy.

    • @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast

      It comes down to whether or not you believe that the government can and should "control" the interest rates, the inflation rates and the economy. If the government controls these levers during a bad economy what do you think it will try to do during a good economy? We cannot take the good and not the bad fractional Reserve banking. How did our country survive before fractional Reserve banking or the Federal Reserve systems? Somehow we ran surpluses! And there was no inflation - in fact we had deflation during the Gilded Age, wouldn't that be cool if we could do that again?

    Using a cash value as a source of capital is a very expensive way to fund purchases. Consider the total $$ out of pocket to fund the cash value and pay off the loan: Fund the cash value sufficient for 10K loan: 15k. ( remember, it takes 4 to 7 years for cash value just to break even.) Pay back loan with interest: 11k. Total out of pocket: 26k for a 10k car. Great deal right? And that does not include the ongoing premium payments while at the same time paying off the loan. Yes, your entire cash value continues earning pathetic interest while you have the loan, but "your" cash value is not your money. You can only borrow against it, and if you die, the insurance company keeps100% of it. Want life insurance and to keep your investment? Buy term insurance at 15X less cost and invest the difference. Watch the video by Jake Broe "Term vs Whole Life".

    Define policy

    • @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast
      @NotYourAverageFinancialPodcast 5 месяцев назад

      Bank On Yourself type whole life insurance is a savings strategy that helps you: 1) grow your money guaranteed every single year outside of Wall St., real estate, crypto, etc. 2) may build a tax free bucket of money from which to retire or access money before retirement for any reason at all 3) creates a permanent legacy with the life insurance which will always be more than you've saved into the policy 4) become your own source of financing where you can borrow from the policy and allow the cash value to continue to grow even on the capital you borrow. If this is true, when would you want to know? And how much of your financial life would you want to reposition so you could take advantage of it?
