hello ayah! i wanna preface this by saying i'm new to your channel and i thought this vlog was so cute, your friend group really seems like a cute community of great people, and the vlog felt very heartwarming. about your views on men, i used to feel exactly like you did, but having my first love (although it didn't work out for different reasons) was enough to change it all. eventually, you find that there are men that will make you feel great, and that will love you very deeply. so, i think my tip is just to put yourself out there to meet new people and keep your standards high. energies align and at the right time, you will find a great person to be by your side! wishing you luck :)

I watched 'Past Lives' recently and read an interview to Celine Song where she said "That’s what you dream of as an artist: that your work, when it’s in the hands of the world, makes yourself feel less lonely." and i thought it was similar to what you said about sad music or movies. Similar things have been said before probably as you said but I liked her wording and it hit different after watching the movie Regarding irony and all that, I think it's fine especially in humor but I have always been too cynic and that's something I'm trying to change for myself. A sprinkle of irony here and there can be fun, noticing the ironies in life is basically what life is about, but constant cynicism eventually just tires and degrades your soul
