@@errorkit I saw while ago there was an update for class compliant in bluebox. the useful case scenario is when you have a device can streamline the individual channels with needing a driver. But I am not 100% sure if bluebox does that precisely.

@@leftmono1016 thanks for tuning in mate - the Kaosspad is on the Master Out of the Bluebox where everything is routed in so I have some nice Master FXs - but it would be nice to have like different routing options - so maybe I need more Kaosspads because I have 2 more Outputs in the Bluebox 😂

@@leftmono1016 sold it and miss it - had to check some other "special sauce" Synths like the Texture Lab, waiting now to get a good deal on Ambient 0, but the Microfreak really shines in my mind haha - I think I sold it because I didn't like the Keybed when recording sth into the Digitakt, as a Pianoplayer I need Keys to play chord Progressions fcs 😂 so I wanted a Minifreak but that PriceTag is shiney af man....😒

@@leftmono1016 yes - that's what Elektron Boxes are good for - that's what I said, didn't you get that point?

@ - you said using mutes was boring, and referenced 2022 for some reason.

@@leftmono1016 right. I said Elektron Boxes are Live only usable when you prepare stuff and use mute modes - if you want to perform live esp. with the DT2 it's horrible. And 2022 or 2021 was the year where every Brand used Mute Mode, and that, for me, is boring - it's like Scenes in Ableton or Maschine.

@@errorkit - scenes in Ableton (where it selects a complete row?) is like patterns on an Elektron though isn’t it? Not mutes? Personally I’ve been using mutes since Cubase on the Atari. Even had an Alesis MMT8 at one point in order to emulate Orbital. That’s how they built their sets, muting elements in and out. So mutes have been around for a long time. So what’s the alternative to using mutes that’s less boring? That’s the question.

@@leftmono1016 all good man, not criticizing Mutes here - just saying, that the workflow isn't so cool for life for me personally - As you saw I'm using the Kaosspad and the AS-1 with a mappable Ribbon Controller - those Elements are Performance Controls for me personally - for a fast and natural Live Performance Workflow, but I think we have to divide Categories here. Live Performance Sound Sculpting Controls and Live Performance Arrangement Controls. I guess I'm focused more on Live Sculpting than on Live Arranging, because I would love to sculpt to arrange. not to prepare Patterns just to mute or unmute them. could do that in a daw with a 2€ midi controller. and I have no Alternative, I myself work with those Modes and Boxes as you saw - but after only 1 month I'm tired of it because it's always the same and does not motivate you to explore sth new like a Guitar or a Kaosspad, which challenges your Fingerspeed and Accuracy - but that's just me - everyone else I know loves the workflow ^^

@@RareCounterKulture how do you mean that? DT1 only has mono Sampling but both have stereo in

@@errorkit I don't own any DT so I don't know much. I guess it's just the doubling of sampling time for DT2

@errorkit that is a nice machine to get some samples from! I was a bit torned between digitakt 2 or digitone 2 but i do want to get some fm drums. Not sure if this is right way for my workflow but its worth a try. Do you have digitone 1 or 2?

​​@@infestedaliendude I have both 😂 DT2 after DigitoneMK1 to sample in stereo and DT1 in the end of the chain because of the Master Compressor for the whole Daisychain - and the Syntakt for its Analog Drive so I can warm up the Digitone when it flows thru ♨️ and I can sample the analog drums in the DT1 if I need^^

@@errorkit Nice, then it's correct made and user friendly. Do digitakt II contain an resonable amount of drum samples? I'm looking for something extra than only my TR8S from Roland. I have a feeling the digitakt II can bring some "electro drum" vibes.

@@infestedalien totally know what you mean - I was Synth-Only since 2018, had fun times with the mc101 or mc707 - but somehow, all Grooveboxen had no jam-workflow for me, only "prepare everything and play as prepared". I bought the Digitakt 1 just for fun because it was 350€ and after the TR8s, TR6s, sonicwave Lofi, didn't get me into jamming, I tried it...never wanted to try it because it looked so...Idk...unsexy? dude, believe me. if you try the DT2, you will end up selling some Synths to get the other boxes. that's a complete new rabbithole 🤣♨️
