She's an Kenyan author and it's another one I read a couple years ago that I loved - it has a lot of fun fantasy elements and it's about a young woman who goes on an adventure to save her father. So good!

lol the funny thing is... I throw stuff away all the time because I hate clutter and if I haven't used something in about 3 months, I'm quick to toss it BUT I have NEVER and I mean NEVER did a book unhaul but I think it's time LMAO I have some books that truly need a new home.
