The synergy with dota heroes are with your teammates

1. Use your arcane boots more. 2. If you're going to support, you have to start warding. 3. AA's Q gives vision, so you can use it over trees and in fog when looking for heroes like Hoodwink. 4. Use Q on any hero with a channel ability, like Lion's mana drain. It'll be a guaranteed stun. 5. You can often blow up cores without BKB that jump you with ult (R and then R again really fast), then Q and W, then E. 6. Your builds are too greedy, which is a very common beginner issue. Early support items should usually be wards, blood grenade, wand, stat item (bracer/null/wraith), boots, drums, glimmer, force staff, atos, solar crest. If you're on a carry, it should be boots, stat item, wand, and then your farming item (battlefury, radiance, maelstrom). 7. Most people go the 2nd facet on AA, but AOE cold feet is super strong at lower MMR because teams group up. 8. Against heavy magic teams, buy a raindrop in the 10 minute range. You'll survive more. 9. AA's ult is a skill shot, and requires knowing when teamfights are going to happen, and where they'll move to. It's a hero worth returning to after some more games. It does burst damage at the point you release it at, and only applies the effect when it crosses over enemies. It's global, though. 10. Don't buy back unless you can get a guaranteed kill or help your carry survive. This usually means a fight is happening near a spot you can teleport to. 11. Select the most popular guide for each hero and work from that, for items and leveling skills.

Btw people like to see fresh reactions so you can put some of your hero demo and first match if you feel like it! Kez Aghanim is hard but really rewarding. You have to use a skill before 3 seconds of switching your stance in order for the other one to not have cooldown. That's what makes his scepter hard. he also has a parry on Sai. You played him pretty desently well! Though you didn't make a lot of use of the Scepter. Btw remember if you feel full of items you can always consume a Moon Shard!

He is a glasscanon that is not very fragile despite being both old and made of ice 😂 His E and R are basically poison to any tank and morphling cries every time Ancient drops his ulti on him because it ruins his essence shift. However dragon lance is not really built for the range as it gives very little range to the already massive range of AA, it is built to be made into Pike for the 3 second no range limit attacks. I play AA almost exclusively mid, I do not go pike. Instead 2 null talismans > Rushing Aghs > witch blade > Kaya and sange or Kaya And Yasha > if by then you haven't already won the game then upgrade Witch blade, maybe get Orchid and upgrade that.

You are right, he is sometimes played as midlander. But you are wrong that he is not a support, he is a 100% a support. Any hero who can be valuable with very little farm and add utility can be played as support.

he's very reliant on lane partner early, really weak otherwise with a stun core like wraithking or chaos knight you've got a lot of killing potential aghs is a core build but it's fun for sure, it's a mid build most likely

Radiance is a constant for alchemist. You must buy it first and you do it fast because of your innate. He is a carry, so you only farm at the start.

Hey there! Good job, I really appreciate you read the skills before going into the game. Myself I don't like to play him as well, he is very dependent on getting ahead of others AND he is a late game carry, ideally the team needs to make space for him in order for him to buy his items, until he does he is kinda useless. Radiance is a defensive Item, the reason you felt he does not survive very well is Drow ignores base armor(the armor you get from agi) and she reduces life regen with the frost arrow, she counters alch pretty hard. You bought no extra armor items at all, it should have being better if Drow was not in the match. I am no alch player, but in this match I would not have overlooked the phase boots for the armor and perhaps buy Assault Cuirass instead of radiance. Alch as support is very iffy and depends a lot on the patch, sometimes he works, some not. It is fun to use his ability to give others the Aghs scepter but ,it is a very greedy strategy, then again greed is the name of the game when it comes to Alch. Some heroes are just not good in fights, until they become unstoppable forces, Alch, Anti-mage, Specter, Faceless Void... They feel like a** most of the game and if the team does not understand you need to farm and they need to make the space for that to happen, it is pure frustration. Not to mention it can become pretty toxic with people pinging you for not participating in fights when you haven't completed even the battle fury.

This will give you a more curated list of items directly in your shop UI, with the items it recommends being organized by what time in the game you’re recommended to get these items. Tortellini’s guides are good for new players because often explains the mentality behind the items being chosen (if you hover over the item in the shop, it will have yellow text below the item description telling you what he wrote down which is usually just an explanation). However, guides are just that. Guides. Many of them are made with massive lists of items compared to what you’ll ever be able to afford or fit in your inventory. Many times, you’re really supposed to pick from that list of items, though often you can easily just take their order/word for it if you can’t decide

yeah, heroes in dota each have unique playstyle, if you dont know the gameplan and purpose of the hero in the firsthand, you ends up confused on how the hero actually works. Some heroes builds for farming, laning, harassing, roaming, backline, dive, etc., thats why hero synergy is very important in this game because of the role and input it gives on each hero on the team. 1 trick is not very effective or less sucessful in this game, because your hero might countered and shutdown with just 1 abilities, heroes, skills, or a certain item builds of the enemy heroes.

1:31 Don't use dotafire to search builds, it's better to use dota2protracker, D2PT shows the item builds, skill order, best facet and other things, you can see builds of Alch carry or mid or support for example, it shows the builds used by pros or immortal players in general(same thing as challenger in LoL)

Why judge heroes if you have no idea what they're about? Alchemist's kit revolves around his innate, but you didn't even mention it when discussing what he does, so I feel like you haven't even read it. You even admit you don't understand why he's built a certain way, instead of as a tank. Does this not immediately give you a red flag that you're missing something?

Once you learn the hero's gameplan you can have lots fun with almost anyone. If you read Alchemist innate you will notice he gets more gold the more units he kills the less amount of time. The reason he gets Radiance early is because he can afford it sooner than a lot of heroes and is a perfect farming tool too that works well with the innate. He can overfarm almost any hero in the game. He hits hard, fast and gets tanky as hell, also his regen is HUGE with his ultimate. He also moves fast as hevk and is pretty fun to Overhelm the enemy with everything he has and decimate their armor! If you want to play him as support you dont buy Radiance, it is really expensive.

Yeah, he's not too flashy. He's generally played as a carry, his innate can generate a ton of gold and get out of hand if he has enough space to farm. That's his appeal, being a big rich carry.

Advantage of this hero is over farming. If you farm well and fast you can quikly gain 1-2 item advantage from enemie carry and with advantage you need win faster. Cause in late game with full sloted carries, alot of carries just shred alchemist, he just cant fight against them on full 6 slots. As support initiator, he could be usefull with blink and his stun, also he can give aggscepters to teammates(but that weird ability. On carry you rather wont to farm aggscepters for teammates, and on support you wreally dont have space and time to farm those)

2:32 - Right at the top of the guide/store window, there is an option "Browse all guides" and there you have the community guides, there are guides for core and support for the same hero, I recommend using them for all heroes, they are better than dota plus guides. If you want to go deeper into builds, the best site to see builds is dota2protracker, it shows the builds used on the immortal bracket(same thing as challenger in LoL) and you can see builds of the same hero played as a support, mid and HC. I don't know if you noticed, but your shield can remove CC from your allies, including stuns. So the difficult part of Abbadon in higher level matches is to stay well positioned, so when an ally is controlled, you can instantly use the shield to remove the CC, this alone can win teamfights

Killing is never a "kill steal"... only idiot players (not you, but the ones that started this trend) think like that. A couple of hundred gold will never be the difference (unless you are a PRO player, then it counts every single piece of gold). Never feel bad for taking the kills... you don't know how many times enemies run away because people is trying to leave the kill to the carry. I have seen it thousand of times.

You play very well the laning phase (for being a noob)... do you have any experience playing dota? It seems like you had at least about 50 hrs

I will be changing the series to just trying every hero in Dota 2 because I didn't realize at the time that the actual challenge achievement required me to do it in a certain order but I just wanted to try every hero alphabetically! 😅

There is an all hero challenge inside the game, you can find it where you game history shows, you could try to complete that one. But you need to win the game to progress.

Funny that the ones who keep dota alive on streams aren't even dota players😂 (Grubby, Tumultuous, etc)

Your Abbadon Q (mist coil) can heal your allies too, it is not just a damage skill to your enemies.

If you are a support, Mana Boots is always needed. Your mana problem will be lessen.

In dota client you allready have all hero chalenge, if you will done it it gives you actuall achivment right in dota, but heroes there you have do not in alphabet order bur in random order that dota gives you. I dont understand why do it in abc order, if you may do it for actual dota achivment.
