A poetic masterpiece that reaches into - and heals the heart. (even though it's not poetry, the language is concise and powerful and perfect - and therefore goes deep - and you heal yourself just by listening to it using the innate spontaneous imaginative powers we all have... amazing).

Thank you so much for posting this. I have the CD and used it years ago, and needed to hear it again, but do not have my bedside CD player any more. So thank you so much that I could find it here. It is an incredible healing meditation journey. I love everything Belleruth has done, and LOVE her books too. Her work is deep and profound. Thank you!

As a survivor of severe trauma, I say this without exaggeration: I believe Bellaruth Naparstek deserves some kind of humanitarian award for this work. I found both this guided meditation and her guided meditation for Depression incredibly helpful before, during, and after therapy. You can listen to audio 100 times or more and still get something out of it. Also, her is like a great, supportive, and wonderful friend that every trauma survivor in this world deserves. I hope therapists and others working with PTSD survivors recommend this to their clients and patients as much as I do.

Recommended this by a really awesome therapist. Unfortunately someone messed everything up for me and I could not return to this therapist. Somatic Experiencing was working for me but circumstances change, life goes on and CPTSD continues for me. This meditation is very good. Thanks 😊

I loved this

My niece sent me this when I told her in writing about my nursing career in the thrid person, I found I was emotionally unavailble to my self. It's how I survived my tumultuous childhood. Staying to myself with my pony, dogs and cats, at least I had good company...non jugdemental, unconditional love. I looking forward to working this meditation. i do meditate, usually every day.. Thanks so much for this.

Since the rights to my audios were acquired by Hay House, this audio and scores of other guided meditations for various physical and emotional conditions can now be found on the Hay House app and on Playaways, but the CDs have been discontinued for straightforward business reasons. For people who don't use apps and rely on CDs, this is a wonderful option, and I'm very happy it's free, thanks to you. I listened to this every night for years. I gave my CD to my neice because I had the recording on my old phone but lost it. It isn't the same on the audible version. Oh thank you a thousand times for this. I am so grateful.

I have just discovered this and I am most grateful. It is helping me in so many way to open more to healing.

I used this meditation about 15 years ago. I've just come through a challenging 2+ years which retriggered a lot of trauma responses. My subconscious kept on bringing forward bits of this meditation. It was very comforting to listen to the full recording again! My healing journey begins again with this Healing Trauma recording.
