Hi, thanks a lot. 🙏🏼 We started on the 30.04 and reached Invergarry on the 13.05. Some midges on the forest road in Greenfield on our last day on the CWT, but except for that none at all.

@@wenzelbrothers yes I was heading to Morvich, I ended up walking with Dan and Ben his dog who very briefly twice features in your video. Like yourselves and about 8 others we camped by the stalkers hut a few km further on from Loch Hourn. We got as far as Sandwood Bay, the flags were up so we didn't quite get to the lighthouse.

You're right. I think it's great that you have all those manual camera modes and don't have to worry about the flaws of third party apps.

I have walked the South West Coast Path on the coastal section including Great Hangman where I wild camped. The big difference I experienced is that it's up and down like a yoyo over very short distances, huge amounts of ascent/descent many times at or nearly to sea level. However one doesn't have to carry much in the way of food, plenty of places to leave the Path and stock up. Also quite a few people every day on the Path. How you carry that load over the CWT I'll never know- hats off to you.

DaVinci Resolve. I don't use the Venice profile in the Cinema Pro App, I think the results are better, when you use the standard profile. It is still flat enough so that you can apply a customized look.

@@wenzelbrothers Danke für die fixe Antwort. :) Hab jetzt in den 3h mit FreeCAD einen Adapter gebastelt für meine Nilkin Handyhülle. In den Adapter werden meine ND Filter von meinem gimbal eingerastet und bei Bedarf Abdeckung zur Seite schieben und Adapter einstecken und fertig. :) Manchmal braucht es den Trigger über ein Video um mal wieder etwas zu Basteln. :) :) :)

@@wenzelbrothers we got to sandwood bay bit didn't make the lighthouse due to the military range being active, but went back in the summer and finished it. Rest of the trail was great but hard work, weather was cooler a few days after you left the trail. There was some stunning scenery. How was Skye did you make it after you left cwt?

Very impressive! 💪🏻 We stayed on Skye for 4 nights, climbed a minor hill in the Cuillins (Sgurr na Stri/very nice view over the Cuillin ridge). After that we did some more hiking on the CWT, but not further up north like you, but back towards Fort William on the Great Glen route. The video about that section of the trail is going up in a week. 🥾

Thanks. 🤝🏻 How do you like the two sections of the trail north of Morvich compared to the Glenfinnan route? (From Morvich to Ullapool & from Ullapool to the CW lighthouse) I must admit that I was positively surprised at how much forest there still is. (Glendessarry etc.) Absolutely gorgeous. ✨

@@wenzelbrothers hi, I have always thought the Knoydart section is special because you are away from civilisation pretty much for 5 days, but now with hindsight I see the whole route is very special and remote but in case of emergency you could probably get to a road within a day if you had to bail. I suppose that makes it seem less remote in reality the trail is still very remote and beautiful. I am still 8 miles short of completion but only because of time restraints. Needed 16 days but only had 15. I still hope to finish one day. I’ll look out to see if you both do another stage. 🤞

The apps are called 'Cinema Pro' and 'Video Pro'. There is no Kino Pro App, when you set your phone to german. Versus has a latin origin I think and we also use it in german. They are both proto germanic languages, that's why there might be similarities.

ich habe den xperia 5ii. aber ich habe nur 4 grune streipen in den screen. meine planne is das ich wieder zuruck gehe zu meine google pixel 6a als normale handy und wolte dan meine xperia 5ii gebrauchen als eine photocamera. Ich habe nicht dan video pro app installiert aber meine plane is das zu tun dan. Meine experience mit dan 5ii is das ichselbst vielleicht 98% dan normale photo app gebrauchte for photo's und videos (for photo's manchmal ein par stops underbelichtung und for video gebrauchte ich meistens 1080p 30fps) the 1080p 30 fps gebrauchte meistens uhm nicht soviel interne memory so gebrauchen und uach for nachts performance ich dachte das ist besser. fur zoomen have ich ja doch gesterns 4k 30 gebraucht fur bessere zoom performance in tages licht. cinema pro ich gebrauche vreilig shon nichts. und photo pro habe ich ein paar woche zuvor gebraucht for stern photografie und ich was super glucklich mit das.

Sounds impressive! 🤝🏻 We hiked 150 kms in 10 days and that was already quite tough. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to complete the entire hike in 12 days carrying such a heavy pack. Good job! 💪🏻

Hey Tom, TEMU haut ja bei erstmaliger Nutzung der App immer satte Rabatte raus. Ich habe deswegen für zwei Backpacks etwas mehr als 15€ gezahlt. Da kostet ein Backpack allein normal ca. 20€. Ich finde 30 - 50€ schon recht viel Geld, wenn man nicht weiß, ob man sich auf die Qualität des Produkts verlassen kann. Da kaufe ich lieber erstmal was Billigeres und schaue, ob es was taugt.

It was mostly due to filmmaking equipment. Camera including 4 lenses (especially the 85mm was quite heavy and the 200 - 600mm zoom lens), drone, tripod etc. And the tent had to be able to withstand gale, but we also didn't want to spend a fortune on it. So it was rather heavy (approximately 4kgs). But even if I go absolutely lightweight, I still carry between 20 - 23kgs.

@@wenzelbrothers ah the camera gear, without it your pack weight isn’t so bad, it is similar to what I carried for 10 days trekking in Montenegro , my backpack was 20Kg

Thanks.😊 For this video mostly 6/Bob57. I also had TitanXL5 with me as a backup, which is also nice because it's big enough for 2200mAh batteries and has lots of weight against the wind. But I definitely prefer 6inch.

How long can U fly on that battery? I thinking about 7 inch, because of the wind...especially in Scotland. Currently I have 3 drones , avata and two 5 inches

@@scotland_by_drone Around 5-6 min. With a 4000mAh Li Ion over 10min. I also like 7inch, but the size is a downside while hiking. You can of course use foldable props, but normal ones just give you more control. Against the wind a 5inch with a GoPro should be fine.
