How do you report someone using technology to facilitate abuse?
Why in forfeiture matters the conduct of the parties is considered but in rule 43 it is not ?
Can forfeiture apply to marriages out of community with accrual ?
Good evening Mr. Vermeulen. Interesting channel and very informative. I'm from Cape Town, and just became grandfather 7 months ago. Our son is unmarried and his fiance became pregnant and became known only after he's taken up a job in New Zealand in January '23. Mid February we became aware of fiance being pregnant. They've broken up in January '24 with fiance breaking the relationship. Son came down in March this year, and upon realizing the situation, he implemented Parenting plan for my wife and I. Mediation (3) couldn't bring agreement, so we have been in Children's Court on 25 April, and postponed to 2 May. Our request was for every 2nd weekend between 9am and 4pm , as well as every Wednesday same time. We agreed to recommendations from social worker, but fiancé not. The recommendations which we compromised to the bone, was 1st phase at fiancé's house mentioned days between 10am and 2pm... And 2nd phase...at our house same times on weekends, but the Wednesday times 5pm till 8pm. Fiance refuses visitation at our house. She's started working in mid March, so now she has a day mother over our grandchild at their house. My question, since the baby, 7months old is not dependent on breastfeeding anymore, will my argument of that fact be sufficient for unsupervised visitation at our place?

I was threatened by the executor of my mother's deceased estate with withdrawing and then he would send his legal bill to me, at the amount of R 400 000. That was after checking up on him, about a refund due to the estate from a medical aid. Law 66 says he entitled to pay from the assets of the estate, not my assets as the sole heir. He must think I'm really slow.
Hi Sir, thank you for your informative video. I do have a question regarding parenting plans. I asked my attorney to draw up a parenting plan. The mother refused to sign and agree on the contents of the parenting plan and her reason we found out much later that she did not want to pay the monthly maintenance. About a year later my ex wanted to come and fetch our son for the school holiday. He is now turning 5y/o in October. I asked her to sign a new parenting plan before she comes to collect our son which she free willingly done and even got two witnesses to sign on her section. I did the same and took it to our local Magistrate which made it an order of court. Please note that I used the original parenting plan that was drawn up by my attorney and I used it as a template. I removed the monthly maintenance and added only monthly school fees as she offerd to pay as well as 50% of medical cost that are above R5000. Furthermore she can have our son every school holiday. She thanked me for being so lenient and the came to collect our son. She never returned him as stipulated in the parenting plan and now arguing that the parenting plan is null and void because I forced her to sign it and it was never registered by the family advocate. My question is... If both parties agree to the contents of a parenting plan and a Magistrate makes it an order of court why is it then not legally binding?
thank you very informative
I can not thank you enough guys for the great work you are doing.
