That seems to be quite a desired position. I always hear people saying it's easy, but if the enemy canyon player is good it can be difficult to the point of torture

@vdb.tv. I think it's probably the best because you're against canyon who is usually defending, but have way more metal than red. And then yeah, you just go around the canyon and 2v1 whoever is next to it then leak into the air player.

I think it just adds a little authenticity when I almost die trying to put the voice on haha.

Ah yes, makes total sense. I do feel like this map really discourages the early tick harass. But it is never sure thing to assume you are safe from ticks.

Somebody was trying to tell me that flanking damage is only from plasma weapons e.g pawns, Sheldon's etc. Not sure if they were gaslighting me or if it's true. They're in my head!

This is a great idea. The main reason I don't do it that way at the moment is because my first con turret is usually greedy so I don't have the resources to build the mex at the same time. But it might still be more efficient this way. I'll give it a try next time I play

@vdb.tv. yeah that's why you should switch between building the turret when wind is high to building wind when wind is low

also if you make a building it is probably 3 button clicks, select basic or advanced buildings, select building that you want, click on the ground. If you use grid hotkeys in BAR you have same thing, but not sure if those button pressed count toward actions in BAR APM counter

True apm is alot lower in BAR than other games. I guess I'm just so used to seeing really good players have high apm that the 40apm suprised me a little haha.

Yeah, I'm not super happy with how the overhead looks. I only did it as a test on this video as I've had people say they want more of it and giant icons. I'll be focusing more on action again in my upcoming videos

you're always there for me with the exact advice I need. I knew there was a hotkey to see it but i constantly forget it. Yeah, i'll try my hardest not to get the zoomies when spinning but no promises. I like having the icons small because I can see the units in the background when I'm angled down allowing me to keep an eye on plays happening in the background. Maybe I can play around with it a bit more and come to a compromise.

@vdb.tv. Yeah true, I play a lot more top down, so it makes the icons either all be there, or all dissapear. But on the shallow angles it might look really weird.

yeah, apparently boats are the meta. Im still wrapping my head around how boats win. must be a snowball type deal where you win with boats the transition into air or something
