That's why kagome and kikyo are in it. the beginning symbolizes her not remembering who she is, until it starts coming back, and the other part of her asks the girl who she is, and that is what snaps her back out of the trance, and from there on out she is who she was meant to be.

It breaks my heart that Inuyasha was bullied by humans and demons in his childhood, lost his father at birth and his mother at a young age. His mother loved him deeply and Inuyasha still misses her so much. :( Anyway, it's a wonderful amv about Inuyasha and Izayoi. But I hate the english dub very much.

That episode, where it was like a demon, pretending to be his mom made me really sad. It made me feel bad for him because he is missing his mother in the inside.
But in the end that demon sacreficed herself for Inuyasha. I think she didn't really wanted to hurt him. She just acted like that because Sesshomaru made her to do it. Sesshomaru wanted to hurt Inuyasha deeply and get the Tessaiga at the same time.
