How To Epilate | Braun Epilator Silk Epil 9
Want smoother legs for Summer 2022? Is epilating actually better than shaving?
If you hate ingrown hairs, stubble, and buying expensive razors or waxing, then epilating may change your life. Epilating can reduce body hair, make your hair grow back finer and softer, and even reduce hair removal time!
When you epilate your body hair, you can space your hair removal sessions for up to 4 weeks with regular use. There are many benefits of using an epilator, including cost savings, less/no more shaving, less hair removal time, no long wait periods for hair to grow out before wax sessions, and more!
Watch how I epilate using the Braun Silk Epil 9!

It’s because you are using it too fast so you’re breaking the hair you should use it slower

So just onions and BBQ sauce? It'd be better to add the sauce afterwards.

I just followed the recipe from the crockpot booklet. But yes, it is basically onions, bbq sauce, and pork lol. They came out so good! But yeah maybe there are better ways to make it. I have just tried this method so far ☺️

I just got this and started using it today but it doesn't seem to completely rip the hairs out by the root, I'm so disappointed :( it looks like they're just breaking and are now short and stubbly. I've tried all the tips and not sure what I'm doing wrong? The only thing I can even think of it the fact that I'm hairy AF right now and it's all the way grown out. I read about shaving first but just for the pain, I have a super high pain tolerance though so the pain isn't bothering me, I find it satisfying lol but then unsatisfying that the hair isn't completely ripped out by the root. I wanted to try this since waxing is becoming an inconvenience for me at this point but this doesn't seem to work as well. :( Would shaving help it pull them out better too? Idk what else to do :(

Wax and depilate often and in time the hairs begin to give up and won't give you any hassle.

Yup. I believe there are three cycle to a hair. To become fussfree for longer periods of time one needs to wax or depilate often to receive those several hairfree weeks.

I bought the same one like two weeks ago and i was going to try it but when i read some reviews people were saying it hurts SO much and that it was unbearable, i got so scared i couldn't even try it. Today i decided to do some more research because i have to try at some point and you made me feel a lot better 💓 I want to ask if you shorten the hair first or just do it, you said you did some research to not do it wrong, what do you do before and after epilating? EDIT: i tried it on my legs and it's not that bad, it doesn't even hurt more than waxing.. i guess my pain tolerance is higher than normal since i don't feel any pain while waxing my armpits too. Anyway i did like half of one of my legs and i'll wait 1-2 days until i do everywhere to see if i'll have an allergic reaction or something like that since my skin is kinda sensitive, it looks less red now (it's been like 15 minutes) but if anyone has read until here, you should definitely give it a try. It's so much cheaper and needs a lot less effort than waxing or shaving. I'm so happy that i've found an alternative for waxing because it was so expensive especially in my country

It is recommended that you shave first, then wait 1-3 days to epilate based on how fast your hair grows, but basically it is able to pull out very short stubble, which in my opinion, is great since you don’t have to wait for it to grow out like you do for waxing. I would start with a less sensitive area if you are nervous about the pain. You can also take an advil or apply some numbing cream if it is very painful. The arms are a good place to start or maybe your legs since they are less sensitive that other areas. The first time hurts the most, but eventually your skin gets used to it and the hair grows out finer and slower. Here’s a little routine that may help get you started. Day 1 - Exfoliate, Shave, Moisturize Day 2 or 3- Gently exfoliate again Dry your legs after a warm shower or bath and make sure not to have lotion, cream, or any other product on your legs. If you use numbing cream make sure to wash it off completely. The massager piece makes it a little less painful, so put that on and try a small area of the body. Move in small sections at a time, and feel free to take breaks if it really hurts. Once you are done with an area make sure to clean your epilator. I put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and spray the epilator rotary piece to kill the bacteria. I also like to spray a little rubbing alcohol or ingrown hair treatment on the epilated area to help kill any bacteria that emerged from the pores. I believe it also helps to prevent ingrown hair and infection. Then I like to moisturize with an unscented lotion to prevent further irritation. The skin may turn pretty red and bumpy at first but usually goes away completely overnight. If you have ever waxed there are similar effects and steps. It is just very important to exfoliate, disinfect, and hydrate. It takes time getting used to it but the results are amazing if you stick with it. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching my video ❤
