We normally do the Air BNB thing in Cozumel but we have stayed a couple of days at Casa Mexicana and really enjoyed it there.
We started staying at CM in 2014. We really liked how it was central to everything. Thanks for watching.

I’ve stayed at Casa Mexicans for years. If you don’t care about a beach, and want to be able to walk anywhere in town, I highly recommend!

We’ve been to Cozumel at least 5 times. We stay at Secrets but always rent a car to go “islanding”! We love it there, hope to retire there too!! 🎉❤🎉❤

With dental we just pay cash. Insurance works the same here. They have great dental and medical providers here and they are a lot cheaper.

I haven't been there in about 25 years. Doesn't even look like the same place that I remember. The water is still beautiful. I got my open water certification down there in 1987. Trees got torn up. Glad to see there wasn't more damage.

Also you will notice that there was not one policeman or not one patrol car in the video because there is zero crime rate in the island or almost zero. Of course there are police and a patrol is in the last second of the video.
The last 5 state governors are from there , their familias live there, the island is shielded. Discos and noisy clubs are not allowed downtown not to disturb granpa and granyy sleep. Bad hombres not allowed either. Plus, its an island and 8ts kind of hard to escape if you commit a crime. Military navy intelligence has a base there plus a military air base which isca part of the american northern alliance. Plus, it is forbidden to mess with the tourists.
Our favorite place to eat in Cozumel. If we ever meet, I will have to teach you how to use chopsticks! ;-P
