I focus on reviews on a variety of different die cast cars!
I noticed a lot of collectors out there including myself find it difficult in deciding models especially in quality and build. So i decided to make an unboxing and review for collectors or future collectors!

Basically i prefer waxing...does it works as good as silica gel packs in preserving the paintwork of the diecast...?
Very nice done
What about moisture? I am using cotton cloth to cover diecast scale car.
That works as well!
Really helpful. Helps me create my livery on PS5 Gran Turismo 7!
As a fellow duck, who is into diecast and has project cars, this is nice. Subscribed! Because us ducks need to flock together. 👍 🦆 I love the use of the piano background track, and using the paint brush to point out features.
Thanks fellow duck! Glad you enjoyed the video! Cheers!
My AE86 is based on the first seasons before Takumi joins Project D, but I will clarify some points regarding this model. The "new" engine is a 4AGE actually, but a 20-valve one instead of the stock 16-valve one. Regarding the new compound model, it was used because, according to the manufacturers, to have more detail accuracy, but to be honest, they remade this ¨Project D version¨ and not the original one because they made mistakes on this one. Not huge mistakes as Kyodo´s AE86 1/18 model, but some. For example, the sun visors should not be installed, when Takumi's car was upgraded, the sun visors were removed to save weight. Fun fact, in real life, when back in the day you could get the car from a Toyota retailer, rarely installed from a factory. Those OEM sun visors are quite rare to find in good condition (Trueno ones and Levin ones are more common). Another fun fact comparing the real car is the fact that your model doesn´t hold the rear door it makes it more realistic because the OEM Toyota hydraulics are prone to fail (I had to replace mine too) haha.
Thats some great info! Thanks for sharing!
As an AE86 Trueno 3 Door owner (and Initial D fan), some points in case someone is interested in knowing about the car, to complement the video. Regarding the decal on the driver´s door. The translation in Japanese is "Fujiwara tofu shop (private use)" About the silver thing on the front wheels hub, indeed is a cap, the reason why is on the front wheels and on the rear doesn´t is because the hub itself is different, and the cap has to be there to avoid contaminating with dust and debris the grease which lubricates the bearings. On the steering wheel, the "logo" is not on the horn button, the horn buttons are actually three and they are located on each point of the center hub of the steering wheel, which is made of leather.
Thanks for the amazing info! This is gold! Would have loved to own one. But finding one is getting harder and harder every year. Is your rhd or lhd?
Great model my friend! I have both the Yellow and red version. C6 Z06 is my favorite car of all times!
My boss has one and it looks amazing. I’ll have to ask him for a ride one of these days!

Ok for the money. You have other much more phenomenal models in your collection.
Thank you! For me the car didnt have a good amount of support to make another opening model except for autoart. Id rather get that but they didnt make the specific winning Le Mans winning model. So this would be the next best thing in my collection. Its either this or the resin non opening spark.
Wow you guys are awesome. Just two bros having some fun! Much love to you both :)
Thank you! We try to enjoy ourselves while our insides feel like its melting lol
Could imagine how much that costs😅
Quite a bit lol
The hardtop version kicks ass i have the rsx and nsx models i am customizing in championship white and milano red, need to get my hands on a z soon
Thats awesome! Good luck with your hunt! I never found the NSX but I really wanted to get that one too!
Is this true of all the GT Spirit yellow ones?
Hmm when mine was released, I remembered another model shop having to discount the model with very similar issues. I cant say to be certain since GT Spirit never got back to me on my complaint.
I think that metal on the hood is supposed to be missing. I don’t have it on my GT40
MERCEDS-BENZ ;-) there's no E in the end on the valve cover . Mine is the same but not sure if it is in every version they released. I have I think a second pressing with more detail than nr1. like seatbelts.
Dang! Thanks for pointing that out. I would assume so unless they would release it again but would result in being a composite model rather than diecast.
What's the difference between a die-cast model and a composite model?
Thanks for your question. Die cast models are usually made of metal usually the body and chassis are metal. And Composite uses plastic on on basically the whole model. You can tell the lightness of the model almost immediately as soon as you lift up a composite model.
Very nice car , great review
Thanks!
I’m actually getting this for my birthday 🎉
Nice! Enjoy it! Amazing model!
I really thought that this was going to be a snuff video with Chris being the main attraction!😅 Is Chris still alive or did he pass away after the camera stopped rolling?!
😂😂😂 yes im still alive lol
currently debating buying this from a seller, thank you very kindly for the video. it really helps. now emergency debating to get the blue or red. the seller just sold the yellow and black. aaaaah!
In my opinion blue is the way to go!
Guys, what is the name of the instrument
Its called a pick
How much do you think it's worth ? Planning to buy one 😅
Honestly prices are all over the place. Let ebay be your guide for sold listings for prices. Thats what i usually use to determine prices before i buy. In my opinion they are somewhere in the $350-500 cad pricepoint.
It's a common misconception to call that spoiler "whale tail", but that one is known as the "tea tray" for its raised brim on all sides. The "whale tail" was a cantilever spoiler from before these cars had an intercooler, so it didn't have that big box underneath that you see on the tea tray. It's crazy to think, but the 930 Turbo debuted without an intercooler... Once Porsche added the intercooler, the 930 changed from the whale tail to that tea tray to make room. IIRC, surplus whale tails from Porsche's 934 racing program continued as a factory option on the normally-aspirated 911's
Thank you so much for the clarification! I looked it up as well and i can see the difference on the wing design. I appreciate the input. 👍🏽🙂
I have one - red z06 new un opened box - many want it but I’ll wait as price keeps climbing
Thats not a bad idea! Older autoarts seem to keep on increasing in price!
Nice pc, I have 2 of these in storage and 1 on display.
I take it you’re a big fan? 😉👍🏽
Can you tell me how much u paid for it ? Thank you ❤
I want to say $25cad but due to its increase in popularity, resellers will go $40-50cad for it.
Greta video. Is this the LV4 midnight purple II color?
Id say its LV4 Midnight Purple II. The LX0 Midnight Purple III has a greenish blue that i cant really see. But again i havent taken the model out next to the sunlight to really see.
20:22 knee cusion, I guess.
Makes sense
Hi my friend, I was a bid disappointed when I just got one. several grills are not through and through. I see you often say things are through and through when they are not (904 minichamps for instance). I knew that in advance and did not meant to bother you with this. But it seems like a habit 😂… front grills aren’t through and through, plain, esay to see. It’s not on you, but I find it’s disruptive so I guess I had to say it this time 👍
Hey @davidbeaulieu1305 Thanks for your input! I take no offense and i appreciate giving me a heads up on that regard. I’ll try to pay attention to the details better on the future videos to come. The emphasis i like to make on grilles that are “through and through” are the photoetched grills that actually have individual holes in the mesh grilles and not just one big plastic mold that has a grille surface. Ive come up with better ideas to be alot more organized on the features of the models in the next few months. Another thing i know i need to address as well is some of the shakyness on the videos especially on interior details. So i’ll need to polish that a bit as well. Again i appreciate the input and thank you for that. 👍🏽🙂 it helps me grow and to help the diecast collecting community as well to help them make better decisions on possible models they might be interested to purchase in the future.
@@duckduckdiecast3324 I'm glad you got my point right on. All you said here was very smart and I appreciate that you replied so lenghtily and kindly :) cheers to you mate :)
Also I like your video very much and that's why I can be very focus when I look at them. keep the good job.
Thank you for your detailed input! I appreciate these comments very much! Some may see it as a negative but to me its room to grow. We’re only people. We make mistakes 😛
Thank you so much for your support! I try to be different than others and have a set and organized format.
A really nice model. I'm thinking of getting the Exoto Interscope 935 because I've seen that car race at the Monterry Historics.
I was thinking of getting that as well. I believe tsm also makes a 1:18 fully opening version of that car. Tad bit cheaper than exoto as well
Yea, you are right. There are two things plastic poles missing, that would connect the wing strutts to the rollover bar. These poles would have two small nipple protrubrances which would fit into the two small holes. But you could make them yourself. You might be interested in knowing that the open lattice on top of the mudguards, is, to let the air pass though, as it achieves top speed, otherwise the car would lift off the track and flipping over. Mike.
Thank you for your input Mike. I had a feeling something was missing. Also thanks for letting me know more about the aerodynamics! Thats great to know! 👍🏽🙂
Mauvaise vidéo , ça bouge trop , on a pas le temps de bien voir .
My apologies, i’ll try my best to have better camera focus.
Cool model
Thanks! Definitely an oddity to me with that high wing!
❤AWESOME CAR...WOW !!!!
Awesome.model
Love it so much!
Is that water
I used warm water to start to loosen up the dirt.
It was my first composite model - and I was shocked when I compared it to AutoArt's die-cast Pagani Huayra. The interior of the Koenigsegg is just too plastic (toyish), the engine is a complete disaster. How did AutoArt come to this after their amazing die-cast Paganis, Mazda 787B, Nissan R390? So I was happy to sell the One:1. Anyway, later I bought AutoArt's Koenigsegg Agera RS because: 1. it has different improvenents here and there over the AutoArt's One:1 and 2. it is Koenigsegg
Good for you. I ended up selling this model afterwards as well. Its not what autoart is known for. I do have the Mazda 787B and the Nissan R390. I’ll make videos of those in the future
Very nice car
The design and the colour cant be beat!
I Got Two C6 Z06 But These Two Are Customized Atomic Orange And Jetstream Blue Metallic
Awesome! Did you do the paint job yourself?
don't like the fart can exhaust (which is just a tip in real life anyway, so its irrelevant at that size) but otherwise it looks great.
I agree. I wish they had a regular full bone stock model.
Where can I buy one?😳😳
It doesnt come up often. But when it does, it isnt cheap. I just got lucky to buy it from someone. Wasnt even advertised. I just asked if he had others to sell and this popped up.
Can you open any parts?
Its a sealed model. No opening parts
Such a cool car, but I already have an Autoart Agera RS, and they just look so similar that I feel I don't need this one. I'm considering a Jesko.
Thats a great choice! Heard lots of good things about that model
You better get some ice cubes because you will need it
Instant relief but its a temporary one lol
Would you happen to know how to find the right screw thread size?
I recommend getting one from another model car that has the box and comparing it when you bring the screw to a hardware store.
great review...
Thank you!
How much do these go for? I got one off Craigslist for $20 cad, in perfect condition
Thats a great deal! Check ebay sold listings for more accurate prices but i know some of them sell between $50-$100cad
Oh it is a stunning example of the 59 corvette. Autoart never stop seizing to amaze.
Its an amazing model. The signature models are the best!
