The Dying Illusion - Candlemass (Johan Längqvist on vocals)
Rare gem taken from the Doomology boxset. A lot of people are unaware of this but after leaving in 1986, Johan had actually considered coming back to sing for Candlemass in the early 90s. At the time there were some demo songs recorded with him singing (which ended up being songs on the underrated "Chapter VI" album) but for whatever reason the plans were scrapped and instead Thomas Vikström became Candlemass' singer for the upcoming album and tour before the band called it a day.

Taken from the 1989 Thrasher "Storm Alert". Seemingly can't find the original version of this tune in decent sound quality on RUclips so I decided to upload it (complete with unnecessarily long intro lol). This is the one where he's screaming IGNOMINOUS! rather than IGNIMINIOUS! (like in the re-recording).

This is taken from the "Tokyo '90" Bootleg live recording, yeah the sound quality isn't perfect but it's almost impossible to find any live performances of this song from back in the day. It is halloween season after all so it's time for a Mercyful Fate vocal cover. Yes that means tons and tons of helium-voiced falsetto craziness, I added in some of my own ideas and I tried to do the best I could given my limitations. Some parts I wasn't 100% happy with how they turned out but for the most part it seems fine. Let me know what you guys think!

I wanted to try doing a Venom cover, this is the end result. I originally wanted to do In League With Satan but I ended up going with this one instead. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be but either way seems like it worked somewhat. Instrumental taken from Jason Saulnier's version of the song

Here's some more Death Metal vocals, and this time it's Paradise Lost. I've only been growling for a year and I always wanted to do this song since it's my favorite PL track. Anyways, I couldn't find a method to isolate the female vocals from the original track all the way since some parts were blended in with Nick's vocals soo I just took one of the parts and repeated it over the whole section...

The original version of this song is on Sacred Blade's 1986 album "Of The Sun Moon" but this song is the re-recorded version that's taken from Othyrworld's 2005 album "Beyond into the Night of Day". I like the way the vocals sound on this version more and I can't seem to find it on RUclips anywhere so I uploaded it here myself.

That's a good question, it's possible that King doesn't like the song much. From a recent livestream he revealed that he hated Devil Eyes so we're never gonna hear him sing it again. The same could be the case for Nuns

One of my favourite albums over the past few years. Especially this song is fantastic. The epic climax in the end always gives me goosebumps. Much more powermetal than doom metal.
