bro i just saw your video you're good at tips ❤
And now am your new subscriber bro
Don't forget me I'll be always your subscriber 😊
@@shajeesv5586 hahaha thank you! Too bad I can’t upload more than 60 sec in RUclips.
except for aerochrome
Ohh I haven’t heard of that! Thanks for the tip
Hey Noah this was so helpful even for beginners!
Hello, do you have to lock the focus knob to change the aperture ? Qi have the elmar 50 collapsible and this is the only downside that I find on this lens. So I wonder if you can change the aperture on the summicron at any focus distance Many thanks !
Just to confirm, the setup at the end just has 5 lights, right? Or which light am I missing? This is a great setup, thanks! which watt-second strobes you are using in the simulation? thanks in advance!
do you have the tif files for those shots? they all look kinda out of focus/blurry in the video?
Where did you get these lights form?
What software do you use for this?
Hello Noah! We'd like to collaborate with you. Please let us know how we can get in touch with you.
Im curious! Im sure you can find my info online. Can't really DM here.
Momo did phenomenal in this photoshoot!
Who would have thought...
your videos are bangers dude
She is so cuteee, love her 💖💖💖
Better put a filter on lens. It scratches most easily.
Straight to the point review! Thank you
Yo this is nice but why convert them to b+w in a comparison
There is no colour difference in the cameras as I was using the same lens. But I see your point. I like some photos in black and white more than coloured :)
Why shoot the most expensive color film stock to convert to bw? This is insane…
So accuracy of the focus is the same ? Just the speed of focusing is different?
Yes! I heard other people had different experience with g1 but mine has been the same just slower at focusing.
Very cool Video!!! When you would make the biggest print you have ever made, which one would you take? (could the Hasselblad hould up maybe with better lenses?)
Thank you. I have one, wasn't sure it was any good.
Y’all need to to take pictures of ethnic women, it’s always men of color taking pics of white women lol
Feel free to check my website noahasanias.com
what a weirdly thing to say.
Video on 12 second in fact. I-pause-Like-pause-Hasselblad-pause-Its-pause-Personal-pause-Preference-pause. XD
Great comparison man! If you don’t mind me asking, what price did you pay for the G2?
For one in really good shape they're around $1000 now. I bought mine 7 years ago with a 45, 35, and 28 lenses for $550. If you search around you can find a body under $1000, but it's probably going to look pretty rough
Well, my beloved lomo400 and lomo100 are absent... I never compared them directly to portra so would have been cool to see. But still cool video ! It’s just not “all” 120 color films haha
I’m sorry to disappoint
hi.. is there a difference in "image quality" when using the same lens?
No, the quality on film depends on the glass and film
@@noahasanias thank you
the hasselblad pictures look very unsharp almost blurry. not shure if they are out of focus or if it's something else
name model?
thanks you answered my question in a short video !
Let me know if you want to know more
I shot with a Mamiya TLR for decades. During that time, the square format was my favorite. On two separate occasions, I had the opportunity to replace my TLR with a Hasselblad SLR system. I did not because I just did not like the way the Hasselblad felt in my hands and the way it operated. When I finally replaced my worn TLR system, I did so with the Mamiya RB67 and have been very happy with my decision.
Liked the model, locations, props, wardrobe, and images. I would love to see the images in the publication. I also liked your cameras selection. I shoot with an RB67 SLR with 90/50/180mm lenses and a Contax G1 rangefinder with 45/21/90mm lenses. What lenses do you normally use with the Contax? Why do you pair the RZ with the Contax? I like to pair my RB with a small camera like the Contax G1 or the digital compact to use as a warm-up before using the bigger camera and to use as a backup in case the bigger camera stops working.
Finally found someone comparing G1 and G2, nice review and nice model.
I find these videos interesting when people say one brand of camera vs another brand of camera, am I wrong to say that the end result on pictures would end up being dictated by the kind of lens you used? So it isn't completely a camera perspective, more a lens perspective. I'm not criticizing this video just to be clear, I shoot film myself I have a lot of film cameras it's just an observation :p
I prefer pairing my Contax G1 small format 35mm rangefinder with a Fuji 6x9cm medium format rangefinder because the images from both cameras share the same aspect ratio.
SQUARE is the ONLY way to go! Rectangles are asymmetric, off-balance, claustrophobic.
You're right. The Kodak Portra series nails it for portraits.
can you do a editorial using a phase one 150 mp camera Now ?
On the Contax G, the 45mm is THE LEGEND!
This was awesome man. What lenses did you bring for the G1?
I believe it was 90, 45 and 21
@@noahasanias Nice! I just ordered the 21mm, so thats positive to know, thanks again Noah!
Awesome video, I love watching vids on both the rz and hasselblad!
The rz is more consistent on taking good shots, but hasselblad produces these colors and swagger that only IT can do, but not very consistent on producing that flavor.
I shoot with the Contax G1 and the Leica M6. There are times when I need the auto focus, auto exposure, and auto film wind features of my Contax G1 with 21/28/45/90mm Zeiss lenses. There are times when I need the manual focus, manual exposure, and less operational noise of my Leica M6 with 21/35/90mm lenses. My 21mm and 90mm are Leica lenses. My 35mm is a Zeiss lens. All my lenses produce excellent images. Each camera, with its own set of lenses, is enough for photographing most situations. However, when I do not have time to quickly change lenses, I prefer to carry three bodies with a lens mounted on each body. My favorite combination is: 21mm f/2.8 Zeiss on Contax G1 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss on Leica M6 90mm f/2.8 Zeiss on Contax G1
Great job mate! Portra 800 is fire. The most versatile film in my arsenal.
Thank you! And yes I agree! My fave one if I have a budget for it. But Lomo 800 is not bad at all. Just wonder if it’s consistent or this is one off.
Nice work showing all of the options Noah!
Thank you! Hope this helps!
Back at it with another one!
Hope this is informative
@@noahasanias Always! Were all these shot in a studio setting with flash/strobes? If so, what was used?
currently waiting for some lomo 120 film :) great comparison video! i wish there were more choices is the the 120 world
Want to see how the images turns out in your end. 🖤
Good job!
Dope, subbed.
Love this lens for bnw!
This was a lot of fun to watch. That black Hasselblad lens is huge! Was that a 250mm, or a 150 w/ extension tubes?
I just got a G2 and love it so much that I stopped using my Leica M6 pretty much. I only have the 45mm lens now but wondering if I should get one more. Do you recommend any? I was thinking the 90mm for portraits but honestly, the 45mm has amazing bokeh already & gives you close focus up to 0.5m which is great for portraits...plus it focuses faster? (Haven’t tried the 90, but just from what I read). And in regards to the 21mm how do you find it? Would love to hear your thoughts / recommendations. We need more video reviews of these lens, I can hardly find anything out there.
Hey Daniel! Great questions. I actually sold my Leica M6 because I enjoy using Contax G2 more, so I totally in the same boat with you. I suggest getting the 90mm if you like portraits (less distortion) as for 21mm. It’s Probabaly my fave lens. It’s small, wide and I don’t see much distortions, I highly recommend getting one if you have a budget for it. As for video comparison I’ll do my best to create one when I have time. Thanks for the suggestion
@@noahasanias Nice thank you, that 21mm does seem interesting : ) Should work great for zone focusing too in manual mode when walking around the streets. Might give it a try, thanks for the reply!
for my style of shooting i love the 21 or 28mm (i recently got 28mm and i'm loving it
Nice shots I’ll pick the rz67
The Zeiss glass is a bit cooler in its colour rendition. It has that reputation. It is crisper though and the flatness of field and sense of depth is something that planar design has a reputation for. Interesting to see it so clearly in the side by side comparison.
