It’s weird… My favorite version of this song is the album version on Achtung Baby. But performed live, I prefer Mary’s version. And it’s not because U2 aren’t good live. The exact opposite is true. They were probably one the 5 best live bands in rock history. But there’s something about Mary’s live interpretation that just takes it to an entirely different level.
