Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright (AI-Assisted Fan Remaster)
Hello. I've been meaning to do this for a while but just haven't made the time for it. Since Adam Demerjian seems to not be very interested in returning to this project to mix these records, (understandably in my opinion considering how much TBLA eclipses his present career,) I thought I'd do him and everyone involved in the fandom surrounding this band a solid and attempt to do a remaster myself. I don't think it came out as best as it could since I didn't have access to the actual stems, but to my ears it's clearly a superior mix of the record.

Mainly uploading this for myself because I hate the compression on the upload on my main channel and would prefer to be able to watch the video on my phone in closer to source quality. I upscaled it to 4k not because it would make the quality of the source any higher but because youtube encodes 4k and 2k video way better than it does 720 or 1080p source video. imma be real this isnt good at all man, the AI splitting + noise reduction butchers all of the audio and it ruins the dynamic range. its especially obvious in the high energy sections like at 17:00, the drums dont even have their transients anymore & the instruments sound all warbly. im sure if you had the actual stems you'd do a good job but this AI stem shit just doesn't work for remasters, especially with the noise reduction.
