800$ a week is terrible you can work at Walmart and make this with no risk

That top bunk while the truck is in motion is a no no if something bad happens. I drove team over the years and we had our own bedding ( fitted sheets, blanket, pillows). Just roll everything up at changeover and toss it upstairs. Only takes a minute. Crappy trainer if they put you on top while they're driving

All those alternative payment devices such as green dot, comm data, etc are ghetto banking tools and charge you in to use your own money.

Yikes seems a bit low weekly pay doesn't it? why not go to a higher paying company now that you have experience? I'm also going with CR England because they're the only company willing to take me no experience + no work history, not even swift took me lol. but dang if I was getting paid that low I'd start searching elsewhere

Have you tried KLLM? Their otr routes are usually for every two weeks out you get two days off (paid days off $100 a day) and you can save them up for up to 7-8 weeks leading up to a week off of paid home time

Here doing some research into companies and the common theme I’m seeing with these big carriers are low pay long hours . I’m glad your explaining your situation and how you are feeling definitely helps me understand this career. I hope things get better for you i’m rooting for you.

Your trainer is a savage for having you sleep on the top bunk while driving. I run teams and we swap out sheets on the bottom bed. Only sleep up top when we are parked for more than ten hours

Mega's OTR fleets don't pay. Get out, there are probably better fleets hiring internally right now, absolutely criminal how little otr drivers are paid right now.

I like you. And I like your videos. I'm 61 and spent the last 20 years on the highway. I got retired by covid complications. I am trying to claw my way back into the career. I see you as a very high quality driver. The rookie year or years are hard, and lots of lessons to learn. Getting past that boot camp drama, you'll get your stripes and your dollar signs. It would be better for you if you teamed with someone who already learned those lessons. The weekly checks are much better for teams. The problem is finding someone compatible that you can trust.

The way you are trucking wont help you anywhere else

People blame bad pay on the companies when the fault should fall on who is in the White House. The president & Congress control what companies do. High taxes & inflation.

Brotherman CDLing is rough this year but dw you got that CDL forever and u will find a good spot eventually. Its always darkest before the dawn

I’m sure you already heard the bad reviews about that company before getting with them, my advice to you is to stick it out for at least 3mths if u haven’t already and start searching for another company immediately, all it take is one bad experience to ruin something and often it’s the first experience, start applying and/or making calls to other companies and see what out there, don’t keep waiting until they completely zap away your confidence and motivation

I don’t think your complaining it you just letting us know how it is there’s from your view some people need to hear it before they make there jump from there company I appreciate what you put out it

I’ve been here at England for two years, and have never had a critical event, it is your responsibility to create the space when someone pulls in front of you. I do enjoy your channel, but I think you’re a little dramatic about how hard it is not to get a critical and maybe you should just look in the mirror and stop crying so much.
