Blimey, I've just come across this video, I was there. Myself and some mates had drove up to London from Manchester to visit a mate who was studying engineering at the Runnymede campus, it was a top night.

Great tune covered by a great band.

They were probably at their peak here. Very tight, diverse and interesting. This early version of 'The Sun and The Rain' with different lyrics I much prefer to the one they eventually released. They lost a lot of confidence when they lost Mike, despite releasing decent material, but it shows here if proof were needed that they never really were a 'Ska Band' and all the better for it as their influences were wide and varied.

Love Madness. Saw them for the first time ever in this very year. Going to see them 41 years on in a few weeks time. They never fail to put on a show.
