Hi can I check? Will it bring in ALL my incoming emails into Hubspot i.e. even those who are not currently in HubSpot? The reason I ask is that I don't want spam emails or tons of non relevant emails being logged in HSpot.

Hi @LaurenHighfill, thanks for your question and for watching! No, connecting your email inbox will not automatically bring in old emails to your CRM. However, you can use the forwarding address to manually add any important conversations to HubSpot. Is there a way to do this at the email level. I know it sounds crazy but some of our Newsletters have 60+ URLs. Applying UTM parameters individually per each CTA is a burden.
Hi @razzleadventures! Thanks for watching and for your question. There are portal wide settings for this, but not email level settings. Depending on your portal settings, HubSpot will add UTM info to your email links automatically. The default usage is below: (this is used for regular emails, blog and RSS emails and feedback survey emails) (this is used for automated emails sent in workflows) [internal HubSpot ID] [campaign name] Hope this helps!

Hi @RomanGaraj, thanks for watching and for your question! This native workflow extension / integration does not work two directions. I would recommend using a webhook or something like Zapier to push data back into HubSpot. Please let me know if you'd like to explore these options further!
why does it change it to a non-reply email even after I connected my email account?

This is different than connecting your email here for 1:1 sending. Can I make a custom object have the same operation capabilities as contacts? I want to separate my customers into contacts and have a custom object for my partners. Our company is a market place so we have two sets of "customers." Would we have the same capabilities with emailing, sequences, workflows, etc. setting up our HS this way?
Hi @Totr10, thanks for watching! To separate your contacts into two separate groups of customers, I would recommend simply using a contact property to indicate the customer type. If you make a custom object for partners, it will have nearly all of the capabilities that the native contact object has, but the contact object is always going to be the one that is tied to sending out marketing emails. You can still do this, and then your contacts who are partners will have a contact record and a partner record that are associated together in your CRM. can you do cross objects calculations or just calculations within the same object and record?
Hi @CarlosGaviriaM, I do not believe you can do calculations across object different objects, but you could probably create this effect using a combination of calculated properties on each object and one or more workflows. Hello! This is the custom report builder, a tool that lives inside of HubSpot. I do not know the underlying technology that HubSpot is built on / with.

Hello! Based on the steps you outlined for your workflow, I believe you could set this up using custom properties on a contact object, but you would not necessarily need a separate custom object.

Hi @user-ii4sl4po5w, yes, you need to login to your Google account where the workfsheet is saved. Once you've connected the account with HubSpot, you can select the specific spreadsheet and column.

Thanks for your question @YoavAcoustica! I wanted to show a simple example, and we were already using the default lead scoring property in our portal. How to edit bulk phone numbers and add area code for the contacts?
Hi @danessasoler5047, thanks for watching and for the question! Unfortunately, it isn't possible to udate phone numbers with the bulk edit tool inside of HubSpot. I would recommend taking an export of the contacts, updating their phone numbers using an excel sheet, and then re-importing them. Below is an example of how you could set it up in the spreadsheet to then import back into HubSpot. Exported Email - Column A: example@gmail.com Exported Phone Number - Column B: 567-1234 Area Code - Column C: (987) New Phone Number - Column D: =CONCATENATE(C1,B1) The only way I can think of doing this inside of HubSpot is using a custom coded workflow action with jQuery or Python. Hello, thanks for watching and for your question! Yes, you need at least one Hub (Marketing, Sales, Service, or Ops) at the Professional level to create custom reports.
This is a great video and I subscribed. We’re just a few in our company as we outsource most of it. We have a marketing starter. I need to calculate our total sales for the year by month in a report. Is there a work around for this? Could I use the “revenue” object that HubSpot creates in my contact and then total the revenue in a report? We were using SalesForce and it was so easy to make a custom report and we only paid $200/yr We can’t justify $800/mo for just the two of us

What's the difference between Deal Type and Deal Properties?
Deal Type would be one example of the many different deal properties. Every deal could be assigned a deal type. But you could also have additional deal properties for deal category, deal class, and deal variety (just as examples). Hope this helps!

Hi @beckchen7113, yes in a way! Deals are the object in the CRM database. In a spreadsheet, each deal would be a row, and each column would be a property. Each deal has several dozen properties that are default HubSpot properties, some of which can be edited / customized. You can also add additional custom properties. Hi! So I have deleted some lifecycle stages such as "customer", "lead" and "marketing qualified lead". Then I created new ones with my own labels. Now my reports do not work because of that, and my integrations read the internal value (which is numbers) instead of the name I created. It feels like my lifecycle stages are completely messed up! Is there a way to fix that or maybe restore them?
Hello! Typically, when a property is archived, it can be restored for 90 days. I am not sure if the same applies to the Lifecycle Stage values, but I would reach out to HubSpot support and see if they can restore them for you. If not, you would need to rebuild your reporting using the new labels you created. Regarding the integrations, the internal values are always used. It can feel a little tedious to track them down, but ultimately it should only be a few copy and pastes. I usually save them in the spreadsheet that has the values there for quick reference!
When a lead passes to "client", they loose the amount spent coming from active deals. How to keep this?
Hi @staticalmo - I'm not 100% sure which object and properties you are referring to, but in general a workflow is going to be the best way to copy values from one property object to another. When it comes to totals, sometimes you can use a calculated property, and other times a report is sufficient. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Hello @jakeknight4125, thanks for watching! This feature only creates a link that gets posted in the slack channel, it does not send an image or pdf of the report. If you schedule or send an email with a dashboard, the images are included.

Actually i wanted to ask you something: in our company we have enterprise and midmarket leads taken from sales team so that in that case they will define wheter the lead is a SQL or not. But for the small businesses we don't have a sales executive contacting with them, so how we can define in hubspot when they are a SQL? The idea is to have them to move to SQL stage "automatically" once a particular event happens.

this was very informative. When I convert the information over in Sheets the dates and some other details show as a bunch of numbers. Is there a way to fix this?
Hello, thanks for watching! When HubSpot exports to sheets, it sends the date properties as unix timestamps in milliseconds. You can use the formula below to convert dates from milliseconds, assuming your data is in column A: =(A1/1000)/ 86400 + DATE(1970, 1, 1)
