Recording messages of your teacher and posting them on social media to try to hurt him is a horrible. I do not know Paul or his student. But everyone has a bad day and or time in their life where they will not be in the best of moods. If the student has a problem with his teach that is unforgivable. Just find another teacher. If the student loses money to a teacher. This happens. Find another teacher. Hopefully both parties can forgive each other.

Paul vunak wouldn't need anyone but Paul Vunak if he had social media savvy/ tech savvy. He's been ridden by leeches his entire career. Etsy, full of PDFs for sale of Vunaks books, RUclips, full of his videos and other content, and of people who claim, truly or fictionally that they trained with him or know him. Instagram, Facebook, etc and so on, capitalizing on the life's work, and reputation, of a man they seem to hate. This post is pretty disparaging, is it about martial arts training? No its about money... The man, from my interactions with him is generous to a fault, kind, and also humble. This is something else. Sounds to me, like a man who got caught being a thief, and then decides to make Paul look like a bad guy when he reacts, so he can point the finger and say "look at him, look what he did". Fact is, this person would be no one without Paul Vunak. He can sell the rights to his name, likeness, and intellectual property.... What's this guy's name worth? Id bet, nothing.

This dude is petty, immature, and a joke. I add him to the list of fake instructors who learned a handful of things and set out to promote themselves as a master. Ive heard his book sucks. most of his demonstrations are of a person standing still while he uses them to demonstrate some moves that might work on a 15 year old but would get him killed by a grown man. He used one too many needles I think.

The first one: with paul. The sifu, master, sensei thing is part of the student-teacher dynamic in traditional martial arts. Its about more than respect, its part of discipline and, in my experience, necessary. For the same reason in the military you adress an officer by rank or sir or ma'am. Also if they called angrily or aggressively complaining, expect the same tone back. It would be good to gear what the website complainers call actually sounded like. The 2nd guy: with the customer on that. Sounds like vanuk needs a business manager with task-master skills, and in the meanwhile a gamble to take the class. Bait-and-switch never cool, wether martial arts or paying for a PhD professor at college and being taught by his/her T.A. who's a 1st year master's student.

I remember an old segment from Jay Leno's Tonight Show where he showed odd newspaper headlines and ads. One print ad was for a martial arts school that read "Learn to Defend Yourself from Master Lee." I guess Vunak's students learn to defend themselves from Paul Vunak.

I went to see Paul cuz he came to New York he was showing Jkd. And I'm happy I didn't go just before I was going to sign up. You can see from a distance what in 7 minutes he must have went to the bathroom five times run back into the bathroom then he would come back and he was trying to teach something. But he was ineffective. Cuz he was he was high on cocaine. But he will take money

Paul is dealing with a certain amount of mental illness . Much of it probably from years of substance abuse . He was and still is to a degree very talented martial artist . But he has serious emotional issues that he really needs help for . It'll only get worse if he doesn't get help as he ages . He's not that young anymore .

I've already always been a huge fan of Paul, but now that I've heard him tell people who tried to backdoor his partner to go fuck themselves, I love the guy even more

UPDATE: Recent Webinar by Vunak. Did not go well. It is viewed via Zoom, why in the world people still used zoom specially for some thing paid webinar. It only shows Vunak is not smart and probably hiring his students again that are not smart and have no business or technology knowledge and you know how will that end - Harassment and Threats. Remember to call me when that happens.

Sounds like he needs his ass kicked--- unfortunatley-- I don't know many that are capable of DOING IT... I damn sure ain't.. I'm too old, and in too bad shape...I've seen Paul take people that were in EXCELLENT condtion and thought they were the BEST-- get their butts handed to them by him!! BUT- he still needs it sometimes, if someone is capable.. of course he's getting old now too!!!
