Very disappointed in him. We think he is one of the best American men in terms of artistry at this time. However, he is becoming Jason Brown II. He didn't attempt the quad again during the SP and FS of 2020 Skate America and keeps backing off of it like Jason did and will end up like Jason. We were so proud of him attempting it last season even if he falls. You have to keep being aggressive with the quad. Some young ladies are doing more technical content than him with quads. It's very disheartening to waste so much talent. It's really a shame. Tara said his goal is to make the 2022 Olympic team. He is far from it. Jason is better than him in style and many other American men like Nathan, Vincent and others beat him technically with the jumps. Even Ilia beat him overall at 2020 Skate America who lacks in artistry and PC but has 2 quads. You need quads to win worlds or the Olympics now. We gave him a lot of respect for attempting quads last year, but are losing respect again. :(
