At the reason why I use a spray decent is because I fit a lot of Landlord properties and at the end of the six months when the contract is up, they want to be able to change the flooring quite quickly so if I use a stronger adhesive then it’s gonna give them a problem to get the flooring up Hopefully that’s helpful

I’ll do a separate video on how we set up before we start actually fit in the vinyl to make sure that the vinyl is straight

No, I wouldn’t be able to make a video on how to build final because I mainly do domestic and that’s a commercial application

Here in the UK, the customer would have to have the toilet removed, but it would make my job a lot easier

Thanks for your comment. Yes I would prefer to put it under the toilet but usually when we go into a property the toilet is already been fitted so you’ve got to cut it around.

No you’re right I usually give that tool to the beginner assembly that I’m teaching how to put down tax strips. It’s mainly used for underneath radiators and other places like that.

Thanks for your comment. I only use the glue around the tax strip when it’s existing grippers. If I didn’t fit it, I don’t know how it was fitted and I tend to glue just to be on the safe side.

@@ehflooring3557 I live in California. I am retired. I started out laying carpet and sheet vinyl the last twenty years I laid mostly laminate and hardwood. I have been watching your videos I like how you handle a knife. I did some free-hand work most of the time I patterned sheet goods we did a lot of flash coving.

yah here in the uk we dont reall use the power stretcher . Are you carpet fitter whereare are you

Yep always use a power stretcher. Its the only tool that can actually destroy the carpet from being so tight! Gotta have all three!! Power stretcher kneeless kicker and regular kicker then youre golden
