I tried the storm setting to see if the landings would be more challenging. I think I have to tweak the winds for it to be truly difficult. Still, always a lot of fun.

Trying out the Chinook on a carrier because, why not? This thing flies great. Very easy to fly, almost too easy. Very stable in the hover and extremely fast. Quite fun to fly.

Quick flight 'port to 'port in beautiful Rhode Island from UUU to OQU. Robinson is very stable and pleasant to fly. I wonder how they are in real and I've heard lots of conflicting opinions both from actual pilots and non-pilots.

Having fun with the H125. I think I have to adjust the viewing angles in the cockpit for a better experience but that said, it flies well. Can get it to land where I want it. I now know that those tanker ships in Lake Michigan are not landable.

Flying from TM Tower to Kuala Lumpur Airbase for VIP transfer. New 222UT is kinda sparse but for $10 you get the great exterior modeling from Cowansim. I would pick it up on sale if you can. Fun to fly and comes with a lot of liveries.

Another new heli within a few weeks of each other....we are spoiled. Great fun this one and beautifully modeled. Recommend you pick this one up for 10 dollars, it's a no brainer.

Try aligningthe centre of your altitude indicator with the blue line on the pad as you approach and see what happens, magic

Has the quality of the stick gotten better?
Most defenitely. X56 H.O.T.A.S.is awesome. Well worth it in my opinion. Very smooth.

A Huey from Taog's Hangar? This is news to me. I know that Blackbird have one in the works, but any helicopter from Taog's Hangar deserves attention. Anything more to share? Also, the anti-torque pedals looked like they were moving at superhuman speed. What's that about?
Yes, it's freeware from them, however, I tried to look for the link and they have actually removed it from flightsim.to. As to the torque pedals, that's due to my malfunctioning Thrustmaster TCA Airbus joystick which I've fixed several times but it's never a complete fix sadly. I'll be purchasing a different one soon.
The Huey never worked for me and I had the path in AirlandFs correct etc etc. very disappointing. Maybe a good one will come to the marketplace through a third party.

May I ask what hardware controllers you use please? I think I need some anti-torque pedals as at the moment it's on my joystick twist and it's quite uncomfortable!
That helipad on top of the spiral staircase is going to be a bit of a challenge when the Chinook comes out.😀
Advice for VR fliers: turn on the DIY attitude indicator (the handmade markings on the windshield). The airframe is so open, there is no visual reference for your attitude. The lack of the variometer strips the last chance from you to detect a climb or a descent. One with a VR headset will level her/his head with the horizon by instinct, and would have no clue without the markings what the attitude of airframe actually is.
I strongly recommend you to map the throttle to an axis on your joystick, and set the governor to be manual in the settings page of the tablet. This bird does not feature a governor in real life. Your flights will be then much more challenging.

Do helicopters require a runway?
No, they absolutely don't, but as I've seen many helicopter pilots takeoff and land from them so I do in some cases.
Is there any way to reduce the cockpit whine sound? It’s so annoying. Even setting game sound to 1 and headphone mode on it’s still so loud like I don’t have any ear protection on Yours sounds so much less annoying than mine for some reason

Thanks! As far as I'm aware, it's only available on the developer's Discord channel. I could only find repaints for it on flightsim.to. It's wonderful, and I would grab it if you can.
I actually have not changed any settings to show these. I believe there's a couple of switches that toggle this effect on in the Longranger in the lower front panel. Thanks for watching!

How are you making the Blade wind effects show up when landing? None of mine do this. Is this an addon? Thanks for the video. Check out some of my chopper flights. I have the Cowansim 222, 206 and the 206L but none of them show wind effects from the blades.

Which, new Huey, did they just release it. I've only downloaded the one from RS something, payware sea and helo's, space shuttle, etc. and it performs terrible. So I flew, the Flyinside Army Bell, for my Vietnam War Era video.
This is the Taog's Hangar release from flightsim.to. Search UH-1H and you should find it. You must also download AirlandFS and follow the instructions for it. Thanks for watching.
@@siliconfreak2883 Thanks, for the reply, I was talking about, weather, they released, a pay ware Huey. I was not able, to see, the exterior views, of the helo, in your video, and I thought it might be, a new Huey model,. I will stick with my favorite helo, the Shrike 500, or the H-145.

Interesting video, but the frame rate looks a little low. If you've got an RTX 4000 series GPU, think about using DLSS frame generation to raise the FPS.
