That is exactly why I don’t go to Outback and I pay that much to go to this gym. I’m old enough to have experienced old and new and everything in between. We are all snobs about something. I know people who would never pay this type of money for this or anything luxury but they have $50,000 worth in guns as if someone breaks into their home, they need all those guns. Some people hate luxury but they spend money in luxury cars or beer. Not everything is for everyone. I am a classist. I hang around certain people because they are like minded. Doesn’t mean I’m close minded though.

@@TheTheboss175 Right…it’s most certainly demographics and the areas they are choosing to build the facilities in. But pickleball is also a huge reason as well. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country and I know that MLP (Major League Pickleball) & DURP (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) have a partnership with Life Time. So in my opinion the agreements, sponsorships, and overall dollars that pickleball is bringing to the clubs is big chunk of the reason the basketball courts are slowly being replaced with PB courts.

It has taken a great level of commitment but it has gotten so much easier as time has progressed. Once I started to SEE & FEEL the results I said NOPE! Not going back, lol! So, yes, I find value and appreciation in the struggle and hard work that it takes to maintain the level of health and fitness that I have today, because the struggles of being overweight lowered my quality of life both mentally and physically! Mine is still good! I am sure that the longevity is conducive to just how frequently it is used and the duration of the session. I do not use mine as frequently because I am in the gym almost every day. I use it maybe a few times per month while I’m watching TV or working. But mine still works just fine!
