@@sanjitsapam4671 In its most prompt interpretation, Orath signifies the genesis of the Earth, portraying the primary creation myth. Rather than a cosmogonic myth in which the earth is created ‘ex nihilo’, Orath expresses the coming-into-being of earthly matter as the result of a clashing of primordial forces and elements. It is based on interpretations found in Germanic and Celtic mythologies, as well as in Eastern philosophies, necessitating the destruction of that which came before. In a more symbolical interpretation, Orath symbolizes the trajectory of nature as cyclical and eternal, rather than linear. New life feeds on death in a cycle that repeats itself eternally, without beginning or end. As nature dies when winter emerges, it carries the seeds of spring in its demise. It is this repetitive reoccurrence of life that is depicted visually through the fire-ritual. Winter’s cloak is cast off, and the reappearance of light is embraced. Thank you for your question.

Belgium is an excellent breeding ground for all genres dwelling in the realm of sludge and post-metal and Pothamus is at its very top. Brilliant.

Het was zálig om dit live meegemaakt te hebben; niet één van de betere optredens van dit jaar, maar óóit. 🖤🖤🖤
Deze jongens mochten als beloning optreden op Maanrock te Mechelen. Na hun set, zijn ze afgestapt naar de man die de PA verzorgde. Hun vraag was gewoon of hij hun vaste FOH wou worden. Voor de man in kwestie, was het de eerste keer dat hij voor hen moest mixen. En het zat er boenk op. Bernd zei ja. Dit is het resultaat na ettelijke jaren. Ik steek het niet meer onder stoelen of banken. Ben heel trots op mijn zoon Bernd. These guys were allowed to perform at Maanrock in Mechelen as a reward. After their set, they walked off to the man who provided the PA. Their question was simply if he wanted to become their regular FOH. For the man in question, it was the first time he had to mix for them. And it was screwed up. Bernd said yes. This is the result after several years. I don't hide it anymore. I am very proud of my son Bernd.

Somehow I can't resist, I'm so proud of him. Bernd is my son. The sound he puts down there is through marrow and bone. Bernd got to know these guys at Maanrock in Mechelen. He was doing the PA there at the time. After their performance, Pothamus approached him with the question if he would like to be their sound engineer. And this is the result, after x number of years.
