    Skew snaps now so annoyingly it’s hard to use. I’ve tried holing alt and shift and it helps a bit but still snaps

      ThisIsJoeanne yes, just double click on the layer. If you have rasterized the later you can’t otherwise you can.

      Go to Image then to Mode, select RGB...you might be working on grey scale so changing to RGB could be helpful
