yes! doom is very fun, I'm learning to play him and that's amazing: he's the only hero you can't learn by looking people play it, especially ingame. Maybe only Sombra and Moira are like this. These hero have a "behind the scene" playstyle that really need direct experience. Genji, Echo, Widow, Sigma, are heroes I don't play but if I get them on Random heroes I have an idea on how to play them. I knew half the thing to do with Junkrat when I picked him up, reaper too. But Somba and Doom no, there are so many variables and it's so hard to actually get value. I play Sombra a lot, but there are situations where I really can't get value, despite not dying, assassinating, harrassing enemy etc. Same thing with Moira, I had to main her for a year to actually get consistent value every game, and there are still games where I don't know how get value with her. Doom is like this, but x100 (because there are also the techs that are essential).

Mines getting a damage buff makes sense because they never got a compensation buff from season 9. Since slam also never got a damage buff, slam/ mine combo was nerfed pretty heavily. Only thing on mines I think will need to be watched is the knock back change. Time will tell if this was too much.

When I came back I couldn’t stand Hanzo losing 1 shot, but widow is harder to survive a dive with, so naturally I came back. Honestly still fun, Ana Hanzo counters hog so hard. At least it would if immort was taken out. Why do 3 supports bail out bad positioning?

Idk man, this game. I'm convinced every account is profiled and managed psychologically. I'm playing less OW and winning more (competitive). Q times are higher but matches are generally much more fair. One-sided games are now 10-20% of my matches. Q times are almost doubled, yes. Some aspects of the patches are so non-sensical that makes the situation kafkaesque. Why the buff on shatter. The thing on the buffed hero to sell battle passes is too much of a coincidence. I'm sorry you feel like this, you sure had a rough time lately. You have to respond to nobody, so do as you please. Take care!

my feelings as a tank player is that hitscan projectiles are a little easier to deal with than pellet/minigun damage. I can see a Soj rail, Ashe position, Soldier position, or whatever and adjust my position accordingly. A bastion doesn't give me the space to be anywhere but hiding out of the fight. On many tank heroes, DVa doesn't give me any space other than to just be completely absent, same with Reaper. Tracer can farm me from any angle and there's nothing I can do about it. By comparison I can play angles to deal with hitscan. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't change the fact that Soj and Cass are dominant and probably need a nerf, but from the tank perspective I feel those heroes are more manageable and a little less annoying. I can generally see Soj coming and do something about her even if I don't kill her. I can't do anything about an unkillable Bastion/Hog/Mauga/Reaper hard pocketed that my team just won't hit a headshot on. Full disclosure: I'm a Winston main.

At 15 mins, you say that the armor changes are nerf to junkrat and pharah in favor of the hitscans. While the changes help most hitscans, especially chunky ones like cassidy, junkrat and Pharah are huge winners here. -5 dmg off a 120 damage direct rocket is way better than 30% off that direct.

1:48 lmao that's the reason I fell from high gold to low silver in season 6: losing a game and the next game I had the same teammates 💀 the headshot nerf on tanks + the armor is too much. 10% on headshots would have been enough. Nice buff on Junk, but Riptire still sucks, need heath buff Nice Ball change, I'm stocked! Nice JQ I hate Hanzo but his ultimate is useless out of combo, so a buff is not bad The rest is meh

that sucks man, what happened to your PC? my PC breaking out of nowhere is my n°1 fear also, I hate these unwinnable games, now that I'm locked in and the game is in a good state for my playstyle and mental, I still get 1 out of 10 games that are unwinnable. In my experience, that's mostly due to groups (traditionally 3-4 stacks, but now with season 10 changes it's more duo or double duos). I also get 1 out 10 games that are unloseable. You would agree though that these cases are much more rare than in season 7 or 8 with that atrocious card system. These one-sided matches are almost always due not to a skill diff but a mental diff, that's why the group factor is so important imo. If the group can catch up the tilt of the single player, the tilting is reabsorbed, but often the tilting player contaminates the groupmates, hence dooming the match.
