I misspoke when I said what was used to pay for the Emergence Zone activation on turn 2, it wasn't intentional I just got lost in what was going on. The Mana Crypt should have been tapped to pay for it, leaving the 1 floating from the Mox Opal, and 1 colorless from the crypt. It didn't end up mattering, but I do apologize to everyone here for that.

When you forest cycle with curator in play you will always scry first. The scry is triggered off of the act of cycling, which means the ents ability is already on the stack, and the curator goes on top.

Just fyi, at 19:00 the trigger is still on the stack and will check last known information, so you would have still taken the damage and died.
