I love all the Steamworld games. Build was such a fun surprise at the end of last year. The only ones I haven't played are the tower defense one (outside of like 5 minutes) on the 3DS and Steamworld Quest which I have downloaded on the Switch waiting for a slow period that may never come

I'm 100% in the quality over quantity mindset right now. My basic mind set right now is I buy things that are either cool looking or things I would want to play one day if I had infinite time. That could change in the future but as it sits right now I would say 9/10 things on my shelf are things I would be playing if I had nothing else going on Tunic is such a weird one for me! It checks every box for game i should have loved but it never fully clicked with me. Still thought it was a great game when I played it at launch and to this day I have thought it deserves a replay/re-evaluation on my part. I'll do that on PS next since it's on PS+ like you mentioned

As of right now Rebirth is my GOTY, I loved it. Remake is an all-timer for me and I was blown away that they were able to make this game and the openness work so well. Some story gripes here and there, things that didn't hit quite as hard like the Dyne moment y'all mentioned. Another concern I have is if we are following the general story path of the original like the last two did there is a whole lot of ground to cover plus tying up all the new spins they have added to the story. I'm not worried persay, but it's going to be real impressive to see if they can tie all that up in a nice bow by the end of part 3. Also really excited to see how exploration will work in part 3. They gave a taste of a seamless fully explorable world at the end of this one and I hope the late game of part 3 has plenty to discover and revisit Great episode as always!

I have never played Toe Jam & Earl. Grew up playing mainly just Nintendo stuff. Hope to check it out one day!

This did not used to be the case, but nowadays whether I'm working or just hanging out if I'm not listening to a podcast I'm listening to video game music. Always been a fan of music, but I think the memories I have tied to video game music on top of the fact there is just so much great music to listen to from games makes it really easy to listen to a game sound track over "more traditional" music
