Someone else should have sung this song. This was like a cat getting his tail caught under a rocking chair. The chorus sounded good. But the main singer was worse than COVID.
The bass guitar player is a complete mess on this song. He is not syncopated to the rhythm of the song. He is playing those fast notes to slow. His fingers are not keeping up. This should have been noticed in rehearsals so that you would have changed to another song or another bass player for this one song. Sloppy things like this makes people not want to watch your other videos.
One problem here...... Comedian Jeff Ross playing the drums does not hit the drum snare hard enough OR.... the snare was not mic 'ed properly. One of the most important things about this song PYT are the crisp, sharp drums. That is what gives this song life and bounce. Maybe the mixing audio engineer who mixed this on a DAW didn't know how to lift the frequency area for the snare. But this sounds like a mess. Listen to the HSSC version of this song. Then listen to this group's version and you will instantly hear what I mean. Just a constructive criticism so that you guys get better. That way you get more views and subs.
Yeah, while I agree that HSCC might have a better take on this together with a more professional sound engineer contributing to that, I cannot agree with your ridiculous comment that this sounds like a mess. It has its own originality and feel, which is what music is all about, not just about sound and technique. Although sound counts big, compare the number of instrumentalists and instruments featured here as opposed to the HSCC version.
@@argentnexus7129 Sound is as important. Here is another example. Look up the album version of John Lennon's son Sean Lennon called Dead Meat. It sounds like trash. Afterwards watch the live version Sean did on the David Letterman Show of that same song and it sounds absolutely beautiful compared to the album version because it was well mixed and engineered. That is the difference between bland and great. Without the component of good mixing, you can even take a Led Zeppelin live song to the garbage because maybe the video quality, etc. Check out the channel ExclusiveLM which has instrumental music peppered throughout the channel and that music composer is on another level with music he composes and mixes in his house. I gotta go take a shit. But let me know if you want to talk more about other stuff.
