In this video I will show you how I renovated an old stool with storage. The stool was covered in several layers of paint and scraping it off was time-consuming. The wood was of poor quality with numerous discolorations and damage. I didn't try to sand the wood perfectly smooth, I gave it a bit of a rustic look by using colored oil.
