Wow - God bless your appetites - you can sure sock that food away! Food costs are about the same as in California. You can eat cheaper by going to deli's in supermarkets. So glad you got to see some theatre. Most Americans pass up the amazing cornucopia of theatre that's available in Dublin - music, dance, trad, Broadway shows, classical, theatre, at a fraction of the cost you would pay in NY or London. And complaining about prices most museums and galleries are free, National Gallery, National Museum, Dublin City Gallery etc. Great buskers on Grafton St. Great music in pubs -- all for free, so quit complaining! You're young so probably all the walking was not a problem. You could have gotten a Leap (travel pass) card for the tram that kept passing you and taken it or a bus everywhere you went for less than 5 bucks. The Gaiety Theatre was built in 1871 and so yes, it is small and so, intimate and full of atmosphere. There are plenty of more modern theaters in Dublin, the Point and Bord Gais all steel and glass and no charm!

Mainly you get cardamon flavour with kithul honey and eggs which is boiled. Some doesn't like the cardamon flavour or egg finding out very difficult and different to understand the flavour. But respect for any culture or country food many people eats cane food it doesn't mean its dog food. Just you need to grow up more as an adult.
